of course, you are all right here. Some more than others.

I'm trolling, you know. I love seeing what people have to say about SEO questions. And this is a golden opportunity for people to shine. Or otherwise :D

there's a lot of sifting to be done around here, but the reality is there is some talent and intelligence on this board. And even if nobody actually posts a gem, someone might unwittingly post a comment that could plant the seed in my brain and grow a gem.

Looking forward to the good responses.

Those pages and the way they are presented in the SE will hardly get them any clicks, because the text in the description is pure nonsense.

If you look at the searchresult and you had one regular page where the text in the title and description makes sense, 99%9 will click that link instead

He might make a little money for a short while, but then the site will be banned from Google, and then what? Then he have to start over again.

In the near future, I think The Google Webmaster Tool is the only way they will list your site in the top for any search - I hope

I agree with you partially, but I think your 99.9 number is off target. A percentage will skip the gibberish, but I bet 80% get tired of reading the text descriptions in google and just click hoping to get lucky. In that regard, I bet the webmaster gets a good 40% click per search ratio.

I don't think he's utilizing the clicks very well though. The redirect page isn't very attractive, I didn't even bother to read the article or whatever is on there, so even though he might get the traffic - it's not being monetized, I bet.

for the intelligent response

He's cranking out hundreds of new pages & sites a day. He could care less when one gets banned by Google.

What's so amazing about it? It's a simple script that generates those pages, he points some links to his domains, the pages get crawled and ranked for some obscure searches.... I don't see anything unusual or amazing about it....

exactly, it's not like he's sitting at home doing some hardcore html by hand, he's running some sort of a script/software that creates probably thousands of similar pages

Wolfy - view source, replace the keywords, and see if you can do the same ;)

here, uploaded one of the pages to my site - this is what it looks like:
httpxx//www.6dicksunder.com/hh/baa.html

replace the xx with :

is that that Markov or whatever script that generates similar content?

do you have a link for a script that can do that but either has a trial or its sold for once off payment (not paid on per page generated basis or monthly)

I never said it was amazing.

My goal was to get people talking about it.

What's interesting? There's no money to be made in targeting searches with the word "torrent" in it ... we all know that torrent users are cheap, stealing fuckers who won't pay for anything.
