4) Camera work. I am not turned on by a 10 minute clip of a pussy zoomed in so close you can see her hair follicles. Sure a close up can be nice from time to time, but not the whole video. There are too many people shooting POV these days and not enough showing the full action. Basically it seems like anyone with a camera figured they were good enough to sell porn. Very little talent out there. Only about 10% of the shit I see is done well.

With respect to #4 I've always thought that if the shooter owned a 2nd camera and had it mounted on a tripod off to the side of the action it would give him (or her) an extra continuous shot of the overall action that he could add into the main production later, in spots. It would look more professional being able to switch to that second camera angle every once in a while throughout the production. Of course you'd only use the parts where you couldn't see the first camera/shooter. I'm sure much of the 2nd cam's footage would be all but useless, but not all of it.

Just a thought anyway. I think even purely amateur-style content can look better with a second camera running.

What annoys me is girls who are stonefaced throughout and then smile out of the blue, like someone off camera is reminding them to act happy. It's so apparent when someone is getting fucked and they don't like it - huge turnoff.

Yeah I don't get these types of girls. If they don't like why do it? Basically they are no different than street whores. At least with a girl who likes to fuck lots of annonymous guys well you can understand why she'd do porn.

That, and girls who have this huge grin on their faces like the fucking they're getting isn't even affecting them. They could be joyriding in the park. Lots of good points so far. One thing that always gets me is when the person shooting doesn't take the time to make sure that the lens is clean before the shoot. You spend all this money on the equipment, model(s), location, etc... and you can't even spend 10 seconds before the shoot to clean the lens. I have one of those lens pens that cost about $10 and always go over the lens with it before a shoot because there's nothing more frustrating than putting all this effort into a shoot and then seeing all these smudges or smears on the footage.

Cleaning the lenses of all cameras should be a given before every shoot in my opinion. Shooters should just do it automatically without even thinking about it.... like breathing.
