![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah, it makes you wonder why in the heck he'd even TRY to say that ... but then you realize his strategy: he just says outrageously stupid things, often lies, and "baits" you into answering. He basically feels that if a user sees HIS first, they think it's the truth. Then, he quotes things in seemingly random order, trying to pretend he doesn't know what they mean, and "spin" them .. it's the classic move of a guy losing an argument. Kind of sad, but hey -- if I stood in line for toilet paper, I might have to resort to doing the same thing. |

It doesn't change the feeds on each reload/pull to avoid Google penalty. But there is no reason to morph on each reload to avoid content duplication on 10 or even 100000 sites, because the TheSponsorFeeds has a special key for that (it's called cxxx_seed). E.g.http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=252 - an unique feed for wm id 252 http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=...xx_seed=123456 - another unique feed for the same webmaster but different blog http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=252&cxxx_seed=31723 - another one http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=252&cxxx_seed=93837 - another one http://demo.thesponsorfeeds.com/?wm=...xx_seed=912938 - another one etc... Surprised again? You forgot one thing: we have used this morphing algorithm on rbblog.com since it's launch, and we are selling it also for a long time. Course we do care about our customers and their webmasters so all those ideas were implemented a long time ago.

HAHAHA -- here's what's funny. First off, we fed you some bullshit information (I won't tell you what) to see how you'd react, and you played it off like you knew about it and it was real. THAT was a good one, and we had a good laugh in ICQ about it. Next, we're only going off of what you claim -- which is now clear to be complete crap, and it makes me laugh again.
That you owned yourself again? Not in the least. Quote:
There's a robots.txt exclusion now to prevent you getting caught in a lie.But here's what Archive.org will ALSO tell you ... When I was the Vice President of Business Development for the company that employed Guido and his team -- yeah, the guys who coded Python, the language a tiny little app called Google is written in -- we morphed the Freshmeat syndication "feed" of application descriptions, using the technology I wrote for that purpose. What was it? *gasp*, an alpha version of Feed Pushers! What year? Oh, shit ... 1999-2001! Ouch. ![]() Man, I feel so bad for you. |

Yes the board you moderate and the site that has removed all your articles after your scandal.
Sure, sure. Any facts? Quote:
Of course no!!! Because I haven't had them at FHGStore.com, I just was pulling the feeds. The only thing I did - I just banned your name right in the RSS parser code to make sure your"articles" won't appear on my site. However it was not necessary, because XBiz has removed all your content from their RSS feeds as well so whey can't appear on other sites that pull the XBiz news feeds.Quote:
I'm getting fun of your posts Quote:

Anyway, he's obviously just spouting drivel and doing his "I'm going to post something to see if anyone will believe it" thing ... so I'm just going to wait for the list of U.S. sponsors, and then go from there.

It's not a my business so I don't care why they did that. You mentioned you are a moderator there - so what's kind of moderator you are if you can't settle such simply "issues" with XBiz? *shrug*

Okay thanks.
Just to be sure i understand: Cyberxxx product: The feed is updated only one time, the post will never change after that. Edgeprod product: The feed update the page everytime. Each reload, you have a new post. I'm wrong?

Exactly, but with some addition. If you want to import a same feed with your webmaster id to more than 1 blog, you have to use a special parameter "cxxx_seed" with a random value, say "&cxxx_seed=123123", "&cxxx_seed=84372" etc to make sure the feed content won't be duplicated on all your blogs.

1) The XBiz RSS feed content wasn't sored on my site, because it was shown on-the-fly by the RSS parser. So I was unable to physically remove it. Do you know how exactly the real-time RSS parsers work? 2) I have added a filter into my RSS parsing script to stop it from showing your posts. It's good that I wrote that parser myself so I was able to add this piece of code: if (strstr($line, 'Merenda')) { return '<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5;url=http://www.fhgstore.com">'."\n".'<br><br><br>The author of this article is banned from fhgstore.com<br><br><br>'; } See, I haven't removed your content (I can't remove anything that isn't stored on the server). I just changed my parser.

Thanks. Actually we have implemented this idea in the first public releases of TheSponsorFeeds plugin. As far as I know, our customers and their webmasters are happy with it.
Quote:
But I think the developer have to care about his customers and their webmasters. The have to listen to their suggestions/requests. I hope someday he will accept my free tip about fixing his feeds as I pointed above and rip our idea to implement it in his product. Let's see how long it will take

Actually I was making less sales during the last 2 months, because the market for affiliate RSS solutions is not really big and almost all programs already bought my solution, or they implemented something similar themselves like http://www.bumblecash.com/ etc (I know about at least 3 similar competitive products developed by different guys). However yesterday I did a new sale from this thread

Jace, what do you think about my last question? Any problem with Google if my posts change everytime the page is reloading?
I'm not a SEO expert...i just want to make sure i don't make a big error.

Why would your post change every time you load the page? I can't think of any reason for anyone wanting to do that. As far as SEO goes, you most certainly would get penalized for that.
