The Black Crusade is coming to Brisbane later this year. Machine Head, Arch Enemy and Trivium. Next month is Job For A Cowboy (think Despised Icon in terms of sound). And just gone was Slayer, Mastodon and Lamb of God.

There's a bunch of contenders for top metal bands of the moment right there.

Wow looks like i have a lot of new CDs to check out...time to scare the kids in the car muuuhahahah

Well apparently someone found out I am running a Metal site now and then this band hit me up http://www.splitbelly.com with a free album download http://www.splitbelly.com/music/Spli...f%20Reason.zip

Sounds good to me. After listening to high school musical for the umpteenth time I think anything sounds pretty good...

Thanks for the lists

I'd say Lamb of God has to be somewhere near the top. As well as DevilDriver, Meshuggah, Megadeth and MachineHead.
