What TV program do you usually watch ?

while working, i have BBC World running in the backgroud. I get the latest news and it's not irritating (hate the 5 min commercials on some channels)

Discovery Sci-Trek is cool too.

None right now

Reasons:

#1 Cannot get sound out of my TV Tuner (getting fixed on Tuesday

#2 Cable will not be installed until the Spring (gotta love college)

#3 Network reception is terrible due to the fact that I live in a valley

#4 Very very few network channels. I am in HELL.

Only thing that pisses me off about BBC World is the fact that you seem to get the SAME news 4 or 5 times and the documentaries inbetween seem to repeat as well. But then I was watching it in France last time I spent any serious time looking at it. Maybe the broadcasts vary.

We watch lots of Paramount Comedy channel but mostly because the American sitcoms make for good background noise and do occasionally lead to a giggle.

The only shows we try to catch new series come up are 'Buffy' and 'ER'. Yes we are sad.

Once you break away for a couple months it gets easy. Before this I had gone close to 6 months without TV.

Im going for a year.

Instead of watching TV I like to watch movies.
There are only a few TV shows I really watch: The Simpsons, King of the Hill & MadTV.
When the world cup or Olympics are on I watch them as well.

My girlfriend watches way more TV then me. She is watching something right now while I goof around at this website.

During hockey season, I'm usually glued to whatever NHL game is on, especially if it's a Flyers game.

Off season, it's any Law & Order show (as they have a few versions out now), CSI, Forensic shows on Court TV, Discovery & TLC, or Animal Precinct on Animal Planet.

Good grief!!! Is that shitty show still on? I would have thought that even FOX would have cancelled that years ago. It was a VERY bad copy of SNL. SNL itself was getting pretty crappy when I stopped watching it about 4 years ago. I can only imagine how bad those shows are now.

Gothweb - Gotta agree on most points with you there. When NOT watching Paramount Comedy the tele is usually tuned to either a Star Trek, Stargate, Buffy, etc. rerun. I suppose its amazing how much TV we watch really. Or at least how much we have it on in the background anyway.

I catch about 8 hours of tv/week

WestWing
Sex In The City
Arliss
Law & Order
Law & Order SVU
Discovery Channel
History Channel

I go to bed with Discovery Wings channel in the background. The narrator has a soothing voice and runs all night so you don't have to worry about the 3 A.M. informercial shouting to wake you up.
