LOL, it may be a big surprise for you but Putin don't give a shit about these "journalists" (he just don't care about them). Personally I herd nothing about Politkovskaya and Litvinenko BEFORE they were murdered, but when it happened all the Russian national news were filled up (and they are even today) with the info about those persons. So the one who killed then made a GREAT PR action on Russian media to make some politic profit on it. Putin is not a moron (you may like him or not (like me for example)), but he is a smart guy. If you studied math in the school you will be able to calculate 2+2 to understand that Putin was a last person who would need that. Personally I pretty sure that Mr. Beresovsky is the one who was interested in such a PR.

I know about lots or media groups and journalists who really influential here and who doing really gives really opposition info about Putin but no one is going to kill them.

As about the thread tittle. Hmm... that's pretty possible, but I can say anything for or against such a statement because I have no facts.

2) I live in Moscow (it's not a secret here).
3) Actually my English is really bad because I learned it in an average free Russian school.
4) Yep, I never heard about both of them BEFORE they were killed, but now I hear about some of them almost everyday on Russian TV news channels. Do you think that Putin so stupid to do that? Once again: he is the last one who was needed such a "drama" in Russian and world media.

And they won't be solved... at least soon - believe me. It's a big political game, and I believe that Mr. Beresovsky has a straight relation to it. Possible even MI-6.. Politics is always dirty, but big Politics is not just dirty, it's even bloody. Anyway, I don't see any benefits Putin could gain from the mentioned murders. Perhaps you do. Litvinnenko was poisoned with polonium 210 - This is an extremely rare poison which can only be obtained by the highest security people or goverments. This suggests that the secret service in russia was involved.

But now it is ovbious that they were involved since Andrei Lugovoy has been charged with his murder but russia will not extradite him....

That's not a surprise because Litvinnenko was illegally selling polonium 210 to 3rd countries. It was his "business".

Do you mean a link to the English-speaking resource? I don't think I have because for some unknown reason western media keep silence about his illegal activity. But it's true - believe me. Litvinenko was an FSB agent and he had access to Polonium 210... Once again, the secret service won't use such a dity method to kill someone because it will cause mass media hysteria like we have now. They are not morons. Also there are much more important "targets" in UK. I mean Beresovsky, Zakayev etc. These guys are some real headache for Russian government. Could you please tell me why they are still alive? I have no resource, I seen it on the news..

Heres the story as I heard it...

3 russians walk into a liquor store. (this is not a joke) they try ot buy like 3 bottles or something(irrelevant) they give the clerk 100 dollar bill.

clerk checks it with a marker right as the clerk sees the line the three russians realize it and snatch the bill out of the clerks hand and bolt.

this was either right before or right after Putin came here to meet with GW (bush)

the three guys were marked as putin's security clan. Video footage n what not.

so investigation begins

Ever wondered why Litvinenko was allegedly poisoned with polonium?

If there was reason to dispose of him, there was no need to introduce polonium as the tool - it's easier to make him disappear permanently or just get a bullet in the head. Why go to creative levels?

If there was undercover ops going on - and sure looks like something was - we will never know the reason or background. These can be *anything* and may not even be remotely like the picture being painted - and can even be a complete negative of any image portrayed to the public.

It's not exactly unusual to refuse extraditition of Lugovoi - like the US, Russia does not grant extradition of it's own citizens. Other obvious reasons are Lugovoi's background - no way can this individual be handed over to any other nation - his track record/career is too sensitive.

Personally I can get the info from both sides - I can read both English-speaking and Russian news, but I believe the most of UK guys don't know Russian so they have to rely on one-sided news sources only. That's why it will be difficult for you to argue with me on these matters. No offense, bro - that's juts IMHO.

P.S. Russia is not China, we still able to access the news from all around the world. I know you think there is no freedom of speech in Russia, but It's not actually true, just because the Internet here is not filtered, the government TV channel re-translates EuroNews, all 5-bucks satellite/IP/cable TV packages include CNN, BBC and other news channels from "other side".

Not sure if you have noticed a slight shift in western media portrayal of Russia over the last few months?

There was a time the sun was shining out of Putin's ass and Bush oozed a intimate relationship with him and "looked into his eyes and saw his soul" bullshit.

Almost predictably, times change and there is a need for "something" - example US ambitions in the Middle East. So.... up rises the propaganda from western media and particularly from the US, whether there is anything concrete or not - but at a minimum, start casting doubts over Russia to up the anti. (It's the same ploy with any country who either need to conform or where there is a disagreement - a "we hate" and "our enemies" syndrome is created for dumb masses).

I'm not in Russia, but reading the tone of western media is so damned predictable - and boring. Shit - all of em need dumbed in the swamp and left to jerk off each other *lol*
