Watched all 3 again yesterday by coincidence ...
I is the most impact IMHO, and II well deserved the Oscar as well. III was a long and drawn out affair, but it did tie all the loose ends together nicely. Puzo's writing and his screenplays were superb - especially the little detail stuff between each movie that kept following throughout. DEFINITELY the best movie series of our lifetime still to date IMHO. Amazing films. 2c
