I removed 900 billing over a year ago from my sites, it wasn't worth it. With the high reversals, no recurring, long waiting for money, high fees, and the FTC scrutiny on 900#s, let's just say I'm not that desperate for money. It's too bad that Ibill got fucked by MCI. At's also too bad that webmasters aren't getting paid either. If I were Ibill and someone used me as their main processor for Credit Cards, Checks, 900, etc. and the 900 thing happened, I would work something out with them. But if someone used someone else for credit card, and someone else for checks, and me only for 900, I would have no motivation to help. Maybe you guys that only used them for 900 should make a deal with them to use them for credit cards, they have some awesome credit card solutions right now. I'm willing to bet if you do, that they'll work a deal on the old 900 cash to help recoup your losses. Every processor has had problem periods from time to time, Ibill is better than ever right now, you guys that dis them, don't know them.

Anyway, if you've got something to add to this thread, add it. But no more "bump" posts, It gets boring.

...Hey I have a new and interesting suggestion...

How about we get a lawyer to manage a class action lawsuit and all agree to donate the proceeds to the Free Speech Coalition?

Ibill, in its worst blunder EVER, has decided that the 20% fee they charge is not enough to actually stand behind their payouts, so they have withheld all 900 payments for nearly six weeks from the paysite owners.

Ibill doesn't seem to understand or value the trust that we place in them as a 3rd party processor. If they did, they would realize that the problem with worldcom is THEIR problem. I don't ever remember signing a deal with Worldcom, my agreement was with ibill.

Ibill now refuses to honor our trust and instead of paying the webmasters, they are sticking the loss on the sponsors, like us at Lightspeedcash, even though we have already paid OUR webmasters (so indeed we get fucked TWICE, money out, no money in)

We have paid our webmasters in good faith. I just wish Ibill would show some integrity and do the same while they resolve their issues with Worldcom.

Any opinions on this?

Steve Lightspeed
Lensman I just think its fucked up they don't wanna discuss it, even if you do cc etc. with them... we the webmasters have a contract with them and not their partners.....

So what you are saying here is, the more they fuck me over, the more business I should give them?

Or in reverse, if CCbill has been good to me, I should take my business away from them? Just so I can have a fucked up relationship with both my processing companies?

If Ibill wants more of my business, they gotta EARN it.

Lightspeed - I have nothing but respect from you guys. Twisted Cash was looking at moving to IBill as our primary processor, but this gives me serious doubts about supporting such a move.

Lensman - I understand your feelings about 900 billing, I'm not sure I like it either, however, there is no way on god's green earth I would give IBill another dime right now. If I was Steve, I would have already pulled IBill off of all my signup pages until they pay the web900 bill even if it cost me more in lost sales to do than the value of the debt.

Steve - Check out my recommendation. The only drawback of doing that is that webmasters like me will see lower conversions, but I would support that sort of move myself, because if processors can set a precident of this sort of bullshit, and that can jepordize your payments to me in the future, because I don't expect you to take too many $50,000 losses and keep in the business, and if it jepordizes you, it jepordizes me. So, I say pull them, or let affiliates choose to pull them from the webmasters area so that those that want to back you can, and those that just want their money can still say "I will support shitty billing companies."

IBill - Yea, you heard me, you've already lost my business. I hope you lose more. The only thing more dispicable than withholding your payments in the first place is letting something like this go and think you can get away with out at least making a statement. At this point, I think I would be more comfortable hearing you tell steve "We're stealing your money and we hate you fuck off" than saying nothing at all. Do me a favor and introduce yourself to the next guy you are going to assfuck before you rape them. You have lost my vote, entirely.

TarPy

PS - Ibill, I will find a way to have more and more to say on this thread for about 3 years, so the shit ain't going away, own up and admit you are cheating bastards.

In a recent update, it sounds as if Twisted Cash will in all probability decide not to go with Ibill because of this incident.

We've been recommended to use PayCom, or PSWBilling.

Anyone else have a billing co to recommend?

We have several credit card processing options you may be interested in and will save you $$ in processing fees. We also have a check solution that is very inexpensive and you control the fraud scrub levels. Best of all.... we value every single client that we process for.

You might want to check out ProBilling. Their rate is around 9.5%, I believe.

ibill update:

Quote:
Web 900 Payout Schedule

The Web 900 payout will resume with October 1st payout period. This payout will cover any transaction paid to iBill from our processor (Worldcom) for the period of 7/22 until 7/31. By October 1st, a new tool will be available within the CMI 900 reporting that will allow you to view all of your 900 transactions that have been paid and what transactions are still waiting payment.

In the past, iBill paid on 900 transactions prior to the receipt of money from Worldcom. Going forward, only reconcilled transactions from Worldcom will be paid on. The CMI reporting will show all reconcilled transactions. Payment from Worldcom should happen on a monthly basis. Once we are in receipt of the funds, they will be immediately passed along to all clients in their next scheduled payout period.
