You can tell by all the places that list AFF / Cams that Lars has plenty of traffic. Dealing with Zango was just the tip of a very putrid iceberg. If you run a scam site, if you run a toolbar install site, if you run a copyright violation site, you are most likely to have AFF and Adbrite all over your site, with sexsearch seeming to more and more often before the backup sponsor of choice.

All the honest webmasters in the world could drop AFF, and they would only need to add a couple more of these scum sites to make it up. AFF is the first sponsor to truly have gone beyond the standard affiliate system, because most of their affiliates are no longer important to them.

Do you think anyone would have even realized the depth of the problem if AFF hadn't been the harbringer of the situation? Out of all bad there can be good as long as you are willing to find it. I'm not running out to promote AFF RIGHT NOW, but I'm not going to take a hit man with me to shows in case I see Lars or Irish Pimp, either. :P There's a happy medium in there that's called REALITY, although you haven't been there for a long time. I am new here and find this info interesting. I have used AFF for several years and I find that my return is dropping fast.

In the last 28 days my traffic has doubled, but I found that 60% approx. of those days, I didn't receive any commission. This is the first month in two years, I haven't received a daily commission.

Just wondering if this has anything to do with all this self serving promotion by AFF on spyware sites, etc.

And you too are making the insane assumption that I am all for Zango or anything? We don't do business with AFF, Homegrown does not use/allow/promote Zango. It's ok to be friends with someone if the business they own steals from you. BUt it is not ok to be friends with someone if they steal the money from you themselves.

If they do it through their "business" and steal money from your business it is ok, it's just business. But if they take money out of your wallet when you not looking that that is " Personal".

I have used AFF for several years and I find that my return is dropping fast. In the last 28 days my traffic has doubled, but I found that 60% approx. of those days, I didn't receive any commission. This is the first month in two years, I haven't received a daily commission. Just wondering if this has anything to do with all this self serving promotion by AFF on spyware sites, etc.
