need a new chair man...
does anyone else go through a lot of computer chairs? being at my computer about 10-15 hours a day can really take a toll on the chair. theres no padding left. wheres a good place to get a badass chair? maybe with a masager in it or something.

Massage desk chairs are rarely comfortable. Staples has some nice ones for around 200.00

I agree with Sticky, go down your local office supply store.
I bought this one for $200 at Office Depot. Raynor® Maverick Multifunction High-Back Fabric Chair

My fat ass goes through chairs quicker than a cop goes through donuts. I've tried dozens of chairs, from the ultra cheap ($50) to fairly expensive (over $1k) and none of them worked for me. Just a few months ago I found the *PERFECT* chair for me, ever since I started using it I have no back pains and my hemorrhoids don't bother me as much. The chair is a lorell executive airseat, it was around $200 from Sams.

I've actually been doing a lot of research on this lately. I've come down that for anyone who spends a lot of time (8 hours plus) on the chair will need one of the following chairs:
Freedom Chair - humanscale [dot] com Herman Miller Aeron Chair - dwr [dot] com Herman Miller Mirra Chair - dwr [dot] com These chairs aren't for the light pocketbook though, running over 1000$ for almost all of them (in Canadian dollars). Do the math though, buying a new chair every 2 years from Staples or Zellers for 200$, and these have a 10 year warranty at least. So, it's at least equal, or more than equal to the same cost. Anyway, hope this helps in your search for a good chair. From all the research I've done, it seems the Mirra is the best bang for the buck, and the Freedom Chair is a close second. The aeron is good if you're going for a "cool factor" and want to show it off to a shitload of people as being rich. Otherwise, the Mirra feels better, and costs less, and has more features. Hope this helps! DV |

'I need a new chair man' sounds like a job offer. Wal-mart has some decent chairs for under $50. The wheels tend to snap after 14 months though. However with a plastic padding under them they last a lot longer.
