Don't forget to take your meds today Paully.
So you think by making it easy for people to be affiliates and saturate that end of the business, it does not make it harder for them to get sign ups?

If you don't understand it maybe you should come off the meds.

I will make it simple for you.

The easier it is to be an affiliate the more affliates there are, the more there are the thinner the sign ups are for the affiliates working.

The harder it is to be an affiliate, not talking about hard to grab traffic, the less there are. The more sign ups for those left.

Of course for those who could not survive without the support of sponsors it would be tough and they would lose. But that's business.

Sales reps should find a compromise between webmasters and their companies, but to achieve it I should say they have to be psychologists. That's bad if they think - "I'll spam webmasters and thus I will show that I'm doing something". It never works because only webmaster knows specifics of his sites and such "promos" of sales reps will be the last thing to be taken into account. And a good sales rep will do it in such a way, that it will never be called spam. For now I can't judge fairly, because it's only my second week here and I haven't dealt with many people from the adult biz, but I believe you're mistaken when trying to generalize all the sales representatives. Again it's all about personality - and all of us are different...
I have to say i completely agree with TopBucks. Although many sales reps may have the reputation of fitting into the description Franck layed out, i believe each person is different. Now this could be cuz i'm pretty new to the biz, but I feel very strongly about the methods in which i do business with people, despite what some of my colleagues may think
I work closely with all of my webmasters so that we both achieve the goals we have in mind and i believe that treating a person with respect and as an individual can take you a long way. This goes for the Adult industry or any other where human relations is important. A lil effort goes a long way.

My job is to work with my affiliates and assist them in any way I can. If I don't know the answer to a technical question, I admit it, then I go find someone who does know the answer.

You've obviously been dealing with the wrong sales reps.
You got it hun

sales rep are useless anyways so your argument is invalid. you are trying to connect darwin theory to sales rep. and i dont think sales rep know the darwin theory anyways

UCLA grad here.
I think dropping out of college was the best move I could have made back when I was 18.

In our industry, almost every single time (and we have hired and fired a lot of people in 10 years), Work Experience > Education.

Especially in fields (I was in Computer Science) where technology advances much faster than the schools curriculums.

Not to say anything bad about those who have finished their education though
