The CHP called
Some of you may recall that about a week ago I came upon a pretty nasty wreck.
They still have not figured out exactly what went down, and I guess I am as close to a witness they have. I have to admit, rehashing the evening to them, even after a week, is rather unsettling. Feel sorry for the guy's family. |

when i was a cop i was the first responder to a car crash near the santa maria area. i saw a baby in a carseat impaled into a chain link fence. i couldnt sleep for weeks and couldn't shake the images from my head for the longest time. all three passengers were killed. it didnt shake me so much seeing dead adults, but the infant really really fucked me up for a long time.
