the one thing people need to realize about mainstream though, is that NO ONE is going to give up the goods to the really truly good sponsors....yeah, cj.com and shareasale.com are great and all, but there programs out there offering crazy money per click, and some that offer $60-100 per sale, but not only do you have to be able to sell ice to an eskimo, but you also have to have crazy patience.....neither of which the average GFY'er can do

I'm not even in mainstream for the short term profits. Of you are at the very, very top, you'll have a company that can be sold for over a billion dollars. Low to middle range you are still looking at 7 or 8 figures, at the very minimum. How many adult companies can do that?

To be fair, its probably not accurate to divide things between "adult" and "mainstream" The fact is we are in a world with millions upon millions of niches, and adult is just one segment. No reason to limit yourself to it as an internet marketer.

My main business is mainstream as many here know im talking serious advertising including Nationwide Magazines, TV and Radio.

Yeah I agree on your conversion ratios but those 107 hits where 10 times harder to get then the 1027 adult hits and that was my point.

then, in all seriousness, I must be just born for this, because I find mainstream traffic just as easy to get as adult, possibly easier

I never tried with magazines, tv and radio though...all though when my wife was bigger she was featured in tons of magazines and on lots of radio shows, and the traffic bump from those was good and all, but not worth the time and energy that went into setting it all up, pure internet marketing always proved to have the best return

mainstream is huge if you really hit your niche. I did kickass one month from some mainstream blogs and then 2 months later it was dead. If you really concentrate on one niche and hit it hard you can easily do 10 grand a month in that one niche. Combine with your adult you can make some good coiin

hell, and not only that, majority of everything in this thread can be found in ANY "make money online" tutorial on the net...HELL, RICH JERK has more than this thread and it can be found pretty easily

the idea is to find EXACTLY what works for YOU and never share it, the idea in itself isn't some hush hush shit, the specifics is what you don't reveal, and no one serious about mainstream has mentioned ANY mainstream program that makes me big bucks
