Huge difference between 5400 and 7200 rpm... However, on a notebook it might not matter so much if you're just doing Outlook and IE. Whatever you do, buy your drive from NewEgg so you save the most $$$

I didn't even see that one. I would get the 7200 rpm 100gb drive over the 160gb drive if this was my everyday computer.
