Ok well if you are married to a Canadian then you can apply for permanent residency.

You should have done that a long time ago, like when you got married.
So once you do that you can then you can get medical. Either way you better call Victoria and find out the actual loophole is.
Either way the way I look at is if you paid your MSP or if they back date it, you will have paid or will owe 6k. Which is about the same as you bills.
So you have broken even.
Anyways you better call Victoria.
Do you have a SSN? or have you been working illegally in Canada? and not paying any income taxes either?

you won't have to back-pay your health insurance - it'll be completely subsidized.. and even if you don't pay it, you'll still be eligible for treatment.. and welfare...

I went to the emergency room about my loss of vision. They treated me for high blood pressure.

You can't become a permanent resident if they feel you'll be a burden on the healthcare system.

Instead of begging for money why dont you try and do something about it. I would have grabbed the yellow pages and called one of the immigration lawyers LONG befor begging for help. Hell do that tomorrow morning bright and early and see what they say.

I guess I'm just lost on this whole thing. You have no clue why you are going blind? There is no disease, no reason for it? Just that you have high blood pressure and you'll be blind any day now? No offense to your doctors, but that is the most retarded diagnosis I've ever heard of.

If high blood pressure was giving you kidney failure and blindness, they would have done something for you immediately. If it isn't the high blood pressure that was causing you to go blind, I'd imagine that they'd be a little more urgent with your care.

I'm sorry, with the odd medical story, the odd citizenship story, and your past requests for money, this has to be met with some skepticism.

So basically there is an open door immigration policy. He could have gotten medical, he is married to a canadian...to qualify for BC Medical you can be married to a same sex partner. So he is married to a Canadian woman, he speaks English as a first language, he had a legal visa for residency and he doesn't have medical...

Social anxiety is not a good reason for your wife not to get a job. She just needs to get off her ass and get a fucken job. Too bad if she has social anxiety. Lots of people have all kinds of mental problem (depression, anxiety etc) and manage to still go to work and make it through the day.
