Between the icq's with Dallas and our first drama thread I will try to be factual and cover the issues.

Dallas and I have been speaking about this for days, and the issue did not occur last night. I originally contacted Dallas on Jan 18th, the second when I thought there might possibly be an issue.

The model in question has done work with a few other producers, and already has content up on websites and available on mainstream adult DVDs. The model has a completely unique and amazing look than anything produced with her before.

Once the model casually mentioned that she had shot a 'few' photo sets with Dallas, I contacted Dallas immediately to speak with him about it. I wanted to know what 'a few' meant and what his intentions were with the content. If it was a small amount, then possibly purchsing the content and licensing other content he might have shot with the model that is available elsewhere. Once any issues arise with ANYTHING in our business they are dealt with them immediately.

When I spoke with Dallas, he was upset and said that he was developing an entire site around the same model. He mentioned that we had spoke about the concept early last year for that style of site and that it was HIS. We have spoken about many ideas and concepts, to base a memory off of a last night drinking and brainstorming in Thailand is not in the best interest of anyone. I approached Dallas with all of the different avenues of resolution I could think of; purchasing his content, working together on a site, putting up two sites and selling as a partnership betwen them. I even mentioned selling our content to him.

The main issue comes from Dallas feeling as though it was intentional. Simply put, it is not worth our time, money or energy to spend thousands and thousands to purposely produce a concept or site that someone is already doing.

one question: why did you not launch her site since dec '05 when the domain was registered? that is a lot of development time.

I got the domain when I first started shooting her for DVD work. Then started shooting for the site the next month, Jan 2006. I have a program in beta right now and have several sites that I have opened since then, and still have a schedule of sites to open. I can't simply open them all at once. You know how that is. You make a plan and stick to it. I had no idea this was going to happen, otherwise it would have gone to the front of the line. Everyone who shoots over there in our circle knew she was my project so I didn't see any problems or reason to change my plan.

Trust me, if I had thought one of the guys I supported and trusted was going to do this, the site would have already been open.

Changing the subject when things aren't going your way, and putting words in DWBs mouth, instead of answering to his actual accusations is not a strong way to build your case.

Plus being in a 3rd world country, there is no telling what is going to happen to this model so I wanted to shoot a full 2 years worth of content and updates before I opened in case she went MIA, which has happened with models I have worked with in the past over there.

The CONCEPT, the type of which is something that is rarely done not the MODEL. We're not ones for drama, and I have no issues posting the facts. And of the 3 people I know in Thailand, of with none are spoken with on a regular or even semi regular basis, who are these people that I hang around with? And to my knowledge you have only met Marc once, maybe twice. Do you have long icqs with Marc discussing your future plans?

I was screwed just as much as you having content with an exact model that is planned for another site.
