SEO thread: 200 inbound links per day?

After one month of being online (first thread posted here: https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/679515-seo-tip-helps.html), I came up with the results:

• Google Page Rank PR5 (after the update is finished)

• 6,596 inbound links in one month (actually 28 days), which means more than 200 new links per day

• Couple of new PR6 links are provided.

Number of Yahoo inbound links (fastest SE):

isn't that unhealthy for seo? I remember to have heard something that you should only add links one by one over a given period of time so that google thinks your linkage has grown organically?!

It is definetly inadvisable to add too many inbound links too quickly. Organic and relevant link building is the only way to go. We can help (see sig)

Did those sites go from 0 to 6 in a month or 0 to 4 to 5 to 6 over 2 updates each

this domain is old and it had PR4 before i made it public.

all those inbound links are totally organic (there are not a single mainstream or any other non-similar themed inbound link).

the domain is 7 months old so it could be possible to do , i have never seen it myself.. pr0 to 5 in one month though seems unlikely.

I've had sites go from 0-5 in one update and remain but offhand can't remember if I've had an adult one do it. I'm fairly certain I have. That will be my next study. I'll document it along the way and report back.


I've got pages that are literally nothing more than an image that are pr6 with only around 100 inbound links so it's all voodoo, but at least for me it's consistent voodoo.

Your pr does nothing for those you link back to because your pr is for domain.com while your links back to others are domain.com/category, which are all pr0.

I'm sure you're joking ... but to clarify:
1) dmoz was getting links LONG before Google even cared about inbounds
2) Google doesn't apply the same filter to all sites. E.g. if you register a "poker" domain and get massive inbounds from bad neighbourhood sites immediately, you most likely will get flagged.
3) Blogspot features thousands of sub-domains so the inbound linking is spread out, not just to the main domain.
4) You may not have been flagged *yet* but that doesn't mean you won't be

actually, not all the anchor texts are totally the same.
category pages still don't have pr, but pr update would be finished very soon (it's happening at the moment).
trust me, i know what i'm doing very well, and if whole this shit fullfill the cause, all of us could get new 100k+ uniques per day!

Kevsh, you are one of very few who knows what are talking about! i'm sure you know that a subdomain is equal to a subdirectory. all the blogspot blogs are linking back to the main page (blogspot). i'm totally aware of the fact that blogspot is google's properties.
what do you think, when pr9 sites are registered and how many inbound links do they have? how much per day? :-)

this site was pr4 much before i actually made it public (which was one month ago). if you have problems checking it out, use some of the wide known PR check tools. google dc's are dancing right, so it's best to use some google dancing tool.

i'm totally this site would have PR 5 very soon. what do you think about 6k+ inbound links?

if you could speak serbian as good as i do english, you have a full right call it engrish! why should i be concerned?

if one thread about a banerless link directory that drives traffic to people's sites is spam, why are you bumping it to the top?

done that with casino site pr0 to pr5 in less than 1 month, down to pr4 after the next update but so what :P

i've made pr3 in just two weeks on a blog. i didn't hastle so much about link exchange. it was last summer.
this site got pr4 on last update, so it's possible to get pr5 on this one.
as much as i know, google is taking care only about your out links, and inlinks are not your concern (unless they are all spam). do the maths: wordpress.org is 3 1/2 years old, and has 53mil inlinks. that's 42k/day, and it's not banned yet! :-)

Hmm why always blogs have somuch better pr rank then ordinary sites?I mean there is blogs who have barely 5 backlinks and they have pr4.I just dont know how is that possible.

wordpress.com (free blog host, not .org) has been banned for hosting somebody elses pages (one person) targeting very interesting keywords. they were hosted on the main domain (not subdomains). this was their way to cover up the expenses. :-)

KlenTelaris, the same thing bothered me for a long time, but it's very simple: a blog has very organized site structure with many links within the site increasing link popularity, so the weight of PR is moved to the main page and to the posts listed there at the moment.
