For those who like Macs......I'll be posting an announcement in the next day or two telling you how to get a free 24" iMac.

It was okay for the times. I remember the annoying part was that they made the modem and sound card on a shared chip. It was called MWAVE or something...

Anyways...to make a long story short...you couldn't be using the modem and the sound card at the same time....major design flaw but online streaming and gaming was so new that they didn't think of it somehow.

To be honest, the best I would ever score a computer that I owned is maybe 8/10 and that was the old Mac LC....but that had a lot to do with "cool" factor. All my PC's i'd give between a 5/10 and 7/10

Maybe the Macbook can break through.

Congrats Mike!! I recently got my first Mac (Intel iMac) and I love it. I'm using my PC less and less everyday.

I love my Macbook Pro. So much, that I also bought a Imac and am getting a New Mac Pro for video editing soon.

Friend of Mine hands me a Lacie 250 gig HD on New years day full of MP3's So I hooked it up the the Imac and ran the built in itunes. Had it discover all 50,000 Plus songs automatically and right now it's automatically downloading all the cover art for each album... NICE! Now I'm just looking for the right device to use to send the Music directly to my home stereo system....
