Suggest to me a Registrar
I've been using RegisterFly for years because of their cheap registration fees and free privacy, but alas, their poor support has resulted in overbilling and no support whatsoever. Hence, I need a new registrar that can provide the following:
1) Low cost domains (.com only) 2) All management can be done via an online interface 3) WHOIS Privacy is a must, preferably free or low cost. 4) Support that truly works 24 hours. 5) Must have registrar lock option to safeguard domains from theft. Go ahead and suggest a few registrars as I tend to spread my domains over a few registrars. Thanks WG

I use GoDaddy for most of my domains - I have about 80 domains with them. I like them because reasonably priced, good customer support and lots of customers. So if I'm trying to sell a domain chances are the buyer already has an account with GoDaddy. Right now they have a special promotion on .com domains for $6.24 to the end of the year.

Try www.1and1.com with a couple domains and test their support. i personally have never needed any so iIm not sure if it's good or bad. Been using them for 1 yr+ with no problems though.
Ddmin panel ain't the best or worst but once you get use to it - it's alright. $5.99 domains w/ free privacy! Good luck, Charles! See you in a couple weeks? |

namecheap is the only "cheap" registrar I have found to be worth a shit.
If you want premium 24 hour phone support and service to go with your domains then register.com is one way to go. They will sometimes even do a phone call if one of your domains is about to expire to remind you to renew. Unfortunately, they aren't cheap. I guess they have to do something to pay for all their support people. |
