Hey bro... I really feel for you and I definitely have an idea how you are feeling like. It sucks to know that it's happening to you and that it comes from the person you love very much. I don't know what I'd be doing if my gf was about to have a date. Actually I let her go with her male friends but I trust her enough and I don't think she'd be cheating on me.

Maybe the situation is kinda the same with you gf. Maybe she wants to have some changes, that doesn't mean she will cheat you at first place. If she loves you it'll be very tough decision to go with another guy at the same time, not to mention that sleeping with that guy thing. I really don't think she's ready to do that, bearing in mind you 'exist' and you love her, and the love is mutual.

If she's really plan on cheating to you then the best solution for both would be to have one serious talk. To tell her the truth, tell her you read her mail and all details you've known. Then ask her whether she still loves you or not. Don't afraid to tell her that you trust her and all that but that you have some doubts because there's nothing to hide between you two, if you both love each other. Talk to her like the part of you and find out how she feels. If she admits it and says you she still loves you then just ask her why would she like to go to dates w/o you know about you (behind your back). Let her explain... if she wants to have some friends, let her go but also ask her to meet you with that 'new friend' of her. And so on...

Basically, talk to her and find out what you should do. Don't just act too fast and too childish, you both are grown persons. Nice warm talk can make up every doubt and at least help you and your girlfriend pass over one hard period together!!
