Dollars.com was the only one I knew of before they folded their operations.

Well that is kind of what xpays offers... they have sites from other programs in there as well as their own.

heh, affiliates would LOVE the check consolidation.

someone who comes out with an adult affiliate network that has cascading processors and all the functionality of CJ is going to make a killing.

Christoph: we're extremely well versed in consulting for affiliate networks and what it takes to make them successful.. if this is a project you're interested in pursuing shoot me an icq and let's talk.

Nope, and trust me it wouldn't work. Besides I think XPays owns this sub affiliate patent or some shit like that.

I wouldn't want it for the sole reason that I want the highest payout possible. Having the sponsor paying a management fee to an aggregator would hurt my bottom line that I would keep working directly with sponsors to keep the best payouts possible. The cost of a consolidated check isn't worth losing commissions in my opinion.

j.,

WG, A CJ network would not lower your payouts, it would increase your payouts.
Adult affiliate programs are based on 1998 technology and thinking.
A smart adult CJ network would detect your unproductive links and switch to higher production sites/products.

Dollars.com concept was good, only downside was that ALL information was open and mayor programs simply don't want to share that info.

My 2 cnts.

well.. WG does have a point, CJ takes between 25-30% of what a merchant pays their affiliate.

so if a merchant wants to pay $27 PPS, they have to pay an additional $9 to CJ.. $9 that could be going into your pocket.

this is why a lot of us make side deals with their big CJ sponsors

A smart operator would demand from CJ adult sponsors that payouts would be equal as a minimum. Profit margins for adult sponsors are higher then margins for mainstream sponsors.

A real smart operator would look around and find 10-20 adult products that sell well and built them himself and offer through a cj adult network.

Affiliates are lazy, most of them don't even bother to sign up for a new program. Even if an established program opens a new program it's a pain in the butt for operators to get affiliates to signup. One CJ adult platform would solve that problem..

I can't see the advantage of having to track 3 accounts on 3 programs (owned by the same person/company) if I want to sell dating / adult and vod traffic.

Ccbill is mostly rev. share based.
Paycom is mostly PPS based.

Anyone with high volume traffic hedges. x% to rev share, y% to pps, not one smart person would bet all his income on 100% rev share.
(why would I rely on a paysite operator to maintain it's retention?)

Merging an account doesn't mean that you actively can manage links or allow an affiliate to default traffic to e.g. paycom as primairy and ccbill as secondairy.
E.g. I know that from a certain traffic pool I happen to have a lot of traffic not originating in the US. I find a nice site that happens to process with CCbill. It would be a total waste for me to send any traffic to that site, while if they would process on paycom I would get 'some' signups with this traffic.
(and visa versa for other traffic).
