PS Also smell this whole scenario stinks in that there is corp paper shuffling and non-transparency - which gives grounds to think there are other agendas.

i signed up with MyVirtualCard - the switch to "Paymonde" was made without me having to sign any new documents. i just got a message to switch the domains and buttons - which was a pain in the ass cause i have a couple of thousand in my shop. a bit later i met howard and norton in berlin and they explained they made the switch for marketing purposes - which i never believed a second. i even made a joke at that time that "Paymonde" reminds be of "Globill" and "Globosale" - i guess i was right at the moment i am seriously fucked: we use their database and their shopping cart - so i can't switch right away. and they owe me about $5K right now i would love to grab Howards "bling bling gold chain" and his golden rolex and shove it up his ass - without lube

Hope ya got that communication about changing names - could be very handy Whatever "Paymode" is, it appears Burah and Cohen are firmly in the frame as targets.

I guess I still have some hope that they'll do the right thing. I'm not a rich webmaster and my mortgage payment depends on my checks. I'm not quite ready to "stick it to them" and thus guarantee I and others don't get paid; all that does it remove my one chance and for something as stupid as revenge. If it comes to it, I'd rather go the legal route and not give them a legal excuse not to pay.

Fuck them...I've waited and waited, sitting here with my fingers crossed it'll all work out. When I saw their sites gone this morning, well that was the last straw.

I now consider my $2k owing vanished and I'll consider myself lucky if I ever see a cent of it again. If I do, I'll count my blessings and buy a lottery ticket or two. I agree with Model Perfect: 'If it comes to it, I'd rather go the legal route and not give them a legal excuse not to pay.' On the bright side, I have removed Paymonde from all my sites and switched to Verotel. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty and got me setup again within 24 hours. Now that is service! |

If they have nothing better to do than pull down websites and remove their profiles, smells like they have other plans. Anyone got any mugshots to post on GFY of Cohen, Howard or Burah et al?

Having gone through the Ibill disaster, I feel for anyone having to suffer due to these guys. Spend your time getting a new biller, asap. Forget them, the money is gone. Do the chargeback thing if you want. Because the IPSP business is built on trust, as soon as that goes, they are finished, and they have no reason to pay. Use all past billers that did this as your guide.

You'll also notice on that list that CCBill and Paycom are past due with their CISP compliancy for the year. The list is meaningless.

When I suggested in earlier threads that Paymonde's collapse was imminent, I must admit I thought they'd make it through the week...sheesh!

At this point, we are resigned to losing all our money and the majority of our rebills (tho we've emailed all of them with an incentive to re-join via Verotel), but what drives us to the point of hysteric distraction is it seems probable that these scumbags will get away with this horrendous scam. How is it possible that, after thousands of webmasters were defrauded by Ibill last year, that yet another processor can come along and walk off with our money and that there appears little or nothing we -- as a group -- can do about it? I realize that law enforcement has little, rather NO respect for us, but they're happy to apply existing laws when and if they penalize us. Is it too much to ask that they apply the law when it comes to people who defraud us and our members? Don't answer that cause the answer is all too obvious already. |

I was hit by ibill and now paymonde and the only reason is running a tight budget-don't have the loose change to pay Visa's blood money fees.

But I'm either going non nude or coming up with the cash to get an established company to handle the billing. |

I had more than one company handling my billing since having grief in the past. CCBill, AND PayMonde handling memberships. B-H-E handling DVD (tangibles) and custom order sales. PayMonde stopped paying, I dropped them days later. I then added in Verotel to my cascade. Which I had doing my celeb sites. |

But Verotel's always done well for me since making the change on my celeb sites. Payments always on time, or early. Always have received a response on e-mails. Live chat is nice. Or you can call, and talk to the Dutchies. More importantly, no customer complaints. |

That's BS. Howard Cohen is the uncle of Joshua Unger. I spoke to paymonde 3 days ago and Howard and Josh were BOTH is the office at the same time.

Can see them lining up for awards as the cream of Financial Entrepreneurs of the Year - not Got some folks checking stuff now (tho may take a week before they get back with info) - it's handy to have mugshots for eyeballing. It *may* be innocent enough, but till that is known, every one of em in is the frame - including Unger.

This is PARTICULARLY grotesque. Here we have one Joshua Ungar, blood kin of the supreme scumbag Howie Cohen, working for and operating online as MyVirtualCard (an associated entity with Paymonde) claiming that he knows nothing about NO-paymonde and can do nothing to help. This beggars the imagination, pals.

What's even worse is that he seems wonderfully flippant about the collapse of Paymonde, leaving thousands of hard-working webmasters without funds and, as one thread reported, unable to pay their mortgages. Everything's LOL in MVP/Paymonde world, particularly when they start counting up the money they've stolen. ALL WILL BE FINE. ALL WILL BE GOOD. What is wrong with us to allow this kind of shit to happen and to take it lying down? This is one of the most disturbing dialogues I have ever read! |

It was a question. Hence, doing my homework. I know that you use CCBill now, but I have no idea how long you've used them. Ease up a bit, k?

As far as I know, no processor will allow this. I think it may be against Visa policy.

Whilst I am loathe to disparage anyone's appearance, I cannot help but note how FAT and DISGUSTING are these piglings replete with double-chins and huge bellies, gold chains and freaky whiskers. What a gallery of rogues!!!!!

Joshua Ungar is a greasy lying piece of shit. I smelled his stench in Vegas 04 when those clowns were pitching their shit service at Internext. I just took several steps back and wrote them off.
