and, now ladies and gentlemen, time for your daily Paymonde update:

NO announcement or word from them about their situation going on two weeks.

NO processing of Mastercards.

NO scheduled payouts so far this week.

NO answering of email or tickets.

NO answering of voicemails.

I think it fair to say that our friends at Paymonde have conclusively demonstrated that they are bound and determined to commit corporate suicide and take a whole lot of us down with them.

What confounds me is that there remain people on this board (and others) who are prepared to swear that Paymonde management is on the level and that we should simply "stand by" whilst they sort things out.

But then again, that was the way it was when Ibill went down, wasn't it? Lots of people rising to their defense and telling us that there was nothing, oh nothing, to worry about...

Hear ya mistermee - there is nothing to "standy by" about, - either provide the services contracted to with clients or fuck off.

There are too many companies of no substance in this business trying to offer services they are incapable of,- and totally ill-equipped to provide while playing games and hiding behind corp structures with maildrop addresses.

hmm just checked and no paymonde payment here either

its funny the choices people make when they have no clue how physical the consequences can be or under estimate how soft the accesible flesh is to the stranger passing in a windy rain this world wide web would seem an anonymous place but what is ever hidden to a seeker? men have died for less ..as low as 20 dollars in the far reaches of earth and then home but

prices will always be paid

and some will never understand the hidden cost in an action

until a stranger makes them pay

TWO WEEKS since our friends at Paymonde gifted us with a word about late payments and lost Mastercard processing.

Oh yes, in those 14 days, they have continued to process Visas, but unfortunately they have NOT found the time or energy to communicate a single word to their clients or, for that matter, to send them the money that they owe them.

Sound familiar? Why yes of course it does. It's IBILL all over again almost down to the very last detail. If one were of a conspiratological mindset, one might almost assume that they had planned it this way.

14 days and not a single word. 14 days and now no pay-outs. 14 days and now not answering emails or tickets or phone calls.

IBILL redux indeed.

Ya know.. all this speculation could have been illiminated if there would have been ANY communication on their end.

Take that, and add in missing payment(s), and you have people going nuts to make sure they do not lose thousands and scrambling for a new company.

I dunno about you, but after the iBill, I am not willing to cross my fingers and toes hoping that things will be alright.

But that's just me.

I called Paymonde two days ago regarding a diffrent situation and talked to a lady there. Also I called today and I talked to some guy (didnt really get his name). I asked him about the payment, the mastercard, and the situation at paymonde. He assured me that all is ok and the only thing is that they lost their mastercard account. He said all payments will be made in time on or before the due date at the latest. My next payment due date is for Monday the 13th, and I was paid all other payments up to date. I will wait untill the 13th and not a day longer. If my payment is not in my pocket on the 13th, on the 14th I will be using a diffrent processor. Paymonde has lots of expenses, and IM sure the owners have huge personal expenses too. So when the shit hits the fan, they will take care of themself first, and then whats left over, they will use to start a new business just like IBILL did. I lost over $25K with IBILL beacuse they kept saying all is ok and I wanted to beleive them. But you can say I learned my lesson.

They already missed the wire I was owed Monday (11-6). I've not heard a word from them, and last time I could check my Paymonde account, they had not processed it for release yet (I'm locked out now).

So already a payment behind.

Take that into account with phone calls not answered, or voicemail not returned. Plus support tickets, and e-mails. With no communication, I pulled their processing links down, and cancelled all rebills.

Sorry. I need money to keep the business running. I am not some 18 year old in grannie's basement who is looking for beer money. I have models that need to be paid, and operating expenses.

I'm glad I had my processing split over three processors so it was not catastrophic, and it happened a month in so I could easily migrate people w/o having ten's of thousands tied up in rolling reserves.

If everything was "fine" then a little communication could have kept me from worrying, or getting happy feet. But I'm not going to get burned on an iBill type thing, or with any number of other horror stories we've been a part of, or heard about.

Sorry.

I will expect to get paid the money owed me. Beyond that, I'll wash my hands of the rest. Hopefully they keep their word, and pay me (as well as other clients) the money behind, owed, and due coming up.

If they did not want this all over the board, a simple payment, and some communication could have solved that.

samo - client funds are not the property of Paymonde. The expenses of that company are the problem of the management - no other party. They took on the risk of running a business in the same way as anyone else - they need to mangement it and deal with the problem. Dealing with it does not include stealing client funds.

The concept that a payment processor can utilize client funds as they see fit, is fraudulent.

Only my tho it has been a favorite rant for years - *all* processors need independent monitoring of client funds and a security mechanism in place to cover the possible demise of their company and where all clients are paid in full. Both Verotel and SegPay have implented such a biz model - all other processors do not provide any security - and it's overdue time they did.

One of many reasons I continue to send more of my business to Verotel.

Nothing in life is 100% secure Barefootsies Every biz has it's risks, but at least they make the attempt to consider clients and offer what should really be part of any contract/deal with a processor.

Very true my friend. But they definately make me more secure about dealing with my money, and livihood. Although multiple options on the cascade seems to work out nicely for protection.

However, when ever there has been a bump, or anything out of the ordinary, Verotel's always let you know ahead of time. Plus you can always get them on live chat, or the phone if need be. Plus they return e-mails. Which is all a nice start.

I've only been with CCBill for a few months, so I am not knocking them. They are new on my cascade, and so far everything is good. My response times to e-mails, phone calls answered, and payments on time.

I definately am happy thus far. But will always keep an eye open.

Barefoot -- I don't understand. On what possible basis did they lock you out?

Well they seem to have a communication problem, and relaying such info to clients. So "officially" I do not know.

My guess is because after not receiving payment, or responses to any correspondance (phone, e-mail, support tickets), I had Verotel approve my last three sites, and then went in, cancelled all rebills.

I also e-mailed all customers to let them know iMonde would no longer be processing the site(s) payments, and removed their join/signup from my cascade.

I couldn't agree more with you Webby!!!

If anyone has any questions or would be interested in more information please contact me.

Ahh, that makes perfect sense.

If it makes you feel any better (since, as we all know, misery loves company), we are proceeding in exactly the same fashion.

As with Ibill, we are assuming that we will never see any of the money owed us. My guess (as noted in another thread) is that they will be out of biz in the next few weeks. Even if they started making payments again, it seems highly unlikely they can survive the public relations disaster that they engendered over the last 14 days.

It seems almost beyond belief that ANYONE could be so stupid and incompetent as to let threads like these go unanswered or, for that matter, to remain silent on their own website. Increasingly, I am drawn to the conclusion that there is some "method in their madness."

Perhaps the fact that the scum from Ibill appears to have, as of yet, emerged unscathed from their multi-million dollar fraud may have inspired our friends Nort and Howie. Who knows? Who can say? All we know for sure is that we have been screwed and screwed badly.

I hear ya there.

I mean, if you were in the business for the long haul, who in the hell would just remain silent?!!? Who would not keep their clients in the loop?!!?

and THEN...

Stop paying clients on time, or I should say, stop paying some, and paying others knowing it's going to come to the boards.

and THEN..

When people lose faith, and do not want to wait on another iMonde and cancel their rebills, move processing, and so forth while you get your shit together (since you can't answer, return phone calls, e-mails, or support tickets) you LOCK SOMEONE OUT OF THEIR ACCOUNT and still NOT PAY THEM?!~?!?

They've pretty much committed their own corporate suicide, atleast in adult, but not answering a single thread, or posting an explaination.

JollyJoe is looking for new processor..

http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=535494

Keep in mind. This is the dude who has an office down the hall from his "buddies", and bought Pay2Go or whatever it's called from his "friends" and iMonde.

If he's looking for another processor, it would sound like the problem's bigger than they thought.
