Couldn't you really devote more time to promoting something that's actually worthwhile instead of creating new threads promoting products that infect computers, steal traffic from affiliates, etc?

Why are sponsors finding it so hard to convert their own entrance and exit consoles, that they need to sell the crap traffic through Console brokers? Doesn't Zango compete directly with you? Maybe affiliates would be better off just purchasing the "newbie" traffic directly through Zango instead at a cheaper cost?

Couldn't you choose something better to jump behind and rally about? Something you provide like your own traffic services, instead of promoting Zango or Spyware instead? I don't understand why you keep pushing them if they're competing with you for affiliates traffic buy dollars.

1. They are legal installs
2. They pay much better and convert better then pushing porn signups?

I can't imagine he would go out of his way to defend them so much, without a good reason. I'm trying to understand why he and a few others even bother to defend these companies. It's always the same people who defend them.

What's so wrong about affiliates recognizing that their traffic is being intercepted and complaining about it, and trying to find ways to prevent it from continuing? Why should they just accept it? If they can speak up and cause a reaction then it's worth doing.

The legal part is grey isn't it, most don't read the fine print to know its on their box. It would be interesting to see what the actual percentage is that actually know its on their box.

Ok how about this angle. If you promote Zango.. doesn't that automatically eliminate a future zango customer since they already have it installed? So why encourage so many others on GFY to start accepting Zango and promoting them too? Doesn't that mean less new 45cent customers for you? Wouldn't it be better just to remain silent than encourage others who might start limiting your zango conversions and profits?

I always love that statement since it's legal today but laws always take time to "catch up". eg: spam. It's easy to see what someones ethics/morals are when they trot out that excuse for their actions.

Hey Brujah, I make money from all kinds of different revenue streams, legal adware distribution is just one of them. I don't allow distribution for adware companies that steal traffic, so please don't lump me in with spyware because that simply isn't what we do.

Sponsors have been selling their exit pages since the dawn of time, the only reason they have us facilitate the sales of their exit pages is because we are damn good at selling them. Why pay someone in-house a full time salary to help you sell your exit pages when you can have a full scale advertising agency handle it for you. PLUS only pay them when they sell something? Sounds like a good idea arrangement huh?

I'm not rallying behind anything, I am just trying to educate people on the difference between legal adware and the junk spyware (that I and everyone else hates). I would highly recommend you come to an ad-tech event and really see what the "other side" of the internet industry does. I don't mean that in a condecending manner, I just really think you would gain alot from the experience and even make a couple of bucks

We'll be at Ad-tech in NYC exhibiting so I invite everyone who comes to please drop by and say hello.

Hey Mike, thanks for the comments.

Yes the only adware we distributed (we currently are not distributing any) was completely legal adware that was very easy to COMPLETELY remove from the surfer's computer. We in the past had been approached by several shady spyware companies and have turned them down at every turn. Now I know the missies and the Will76's of the world would probably argue with me over that but my word is my bond.

I have never promoted adware on an affiliate basis and probably never will, it's just not in our business model.

Anyways hope that clears things up

Hahaha well I would prefer you buy the traffic from me, your money goes to very beneficial causes like pirate hooker cruises and playboy mansion parties.

I have never promoted Zango... My latest posts were not to defend Zango they were to educate the GFY surfing public what is going on in the mainstream space with adware and who is funding them.
