The Design of the New CCBill Affiliate System, your suggestions needed!
We are nearing the end of the architecture of the new CCBill Affiliate System and while we have a lot of new innovative features/changes planned that have been requested over the years, we would like input from the users on what changes/additions you would like us to incorporate into the design. We appreciate you taking the time to pass on your suggestions, we will consider all reasonable input, please post in this thread or email [email protected] with any ideas you have. Thank you in advance.

				 | From the affiliates side it would be nice if I make a sale for somebody using you that has multiple sites, that I could know which site the sale was for. If there is a way of doing that now I am missing it. |

				 | as long as you all get away from that java (or whatever it is) based system, I will be happy my main suggestion is this though....go visit a affiliate program running nats, then visit one running mpa3, take all the features and ease of use in both systems and combine them into one crazy cool ccbill system ;) |

I to would love to see less or no java. A move away from cookies would be great, if you can defeat any scumware affiliate code swaps even better. Maybe an affiliate alert system in the event someone takes their site down or removes ccbill.

				 | I don't really have too many suggestions but I love CCBill and can't wait for the new features you have planned. The only suggestion I really have is tracking SubIDs at the moment you can see which website(Referring URL) has made a sale but I often promote the same link at different locations within the same site using different methods... Would be nice to know which method is actually working. |

				 | Here are a couple of things: Redirects of old codes... when a site is shut down or closes, there should be a default "redirect" for any hits the affiliate might send to that code. Even if it is just a redirect to another site they own or another program, so at least hits are not lost when sites shut down. SIMPLIFIED LINK CODES! There is no reason that everyone should be forced to link through CCBill with insanely long link codes. Find a way to make them much, much shorter. THRU TRACKING: A click should be tracked from hit to death. With the amount of spyware and scumware out there, efforts should be made to keep code sustitutions or cookie stuffing from happening. ... and so on. Alex |

				 | Please look at the webmaster refferals in the affiliate's section, Anytime you try to look up historical stats past a month back, you get the database error. Also adding those earnings to your regular sales and rebills in the "Checks" section would be awesome and accurately reflect all of an affilaite's earnings per check.

				 | the ability to run a multisite program, and still track affiliate conversions per site would be great also how about adding the click data to the datalink system so programs can build their own stats interface if they want?

				 | The single biggest improvement I would like to see is optional email notifications that enable affiliates to be notified of important changes made by program owners. For example if a program has: - Stopped using your services. - Changed the payout rate. - Added/edited/deleted linking codes. |

				 | In regards to program names, I got two suggestions. 1) Require program owners to give unique and descriptive names to their programs so that affiliates with merged accounts can distinguish between them. For example, I saw one the other day called "CCBill Referal Program"! 2) Expand the table cell in which the drop down menu form element containing the program names is in or limit the length of the program names so that they are completely visable in the drop down menus you use. For example a bunch have names like "Make money with [insert porn star name] so in the drop down menu all I see is a bunch of "Make money w" in a row and thus have no way of telling which is which. |

				 | If you maintain the ability to sort on the affiliate ID column on the tools page, don't sort them soley by the value of the left most digit as that results in an order that is not very useful. In other words, it currently sorts affiliate IDs like: 123920 5834 69087 rather than 5834 69087 123920 |

				 | A way for afililiates to easily find new programs to promote. Ideally a categorized directory of all current programs accepting new affiliate applications and an easy way to apply to them. A "newly added" list would be particularly useful as well as the ability to be emailed when new sites are added to specific categories. |

				 | PLEASE PLEASE do this: Make it so that the individual affiliate ID can be included when a program owner send out emails through the CCBill interface. This way we can include everyones ID when mailing out new FHGs. PLEASE?

				 | A way for affiliates to DELETE programs they once joined which are either no longer active or are ones we simply do not wish to promote anymore. As it is I have a long list of programs when I log in to my stats area , 75% of which I don't use. mopek1 |

				 | Often in the past when I have tried to sign up with a program they either do not have the form for existing CCBill affiliates or the form was somehow mis configured and thus did not work. If you do not already, I would suggest you offer programs the ability to simply link to a form hosted at CCBill where it can be properly configured, updated and monitered by you guys rather than relying on 1000s of site owners to do it on their own. |

				 | - No Java! (I know there is a html mode but it often seems to be broken at least for me..) - Speed improvement (it's often slow generating reports on many months at a time, some times even times out after 5 minutes I think) - Additional conversion/retention statistics. Say for example: I want to select all sales from June 2006, and see now after they have rebilled and such what the average worth per sale was. You do show it right now in the conversion stats, BUT you don't show a combined total for the products and such so I have to do it manually... Which is a small inconvenience when we have many different products. Like if $34.95 signups count for 20% of our sales and 49.95 count for 10% and 24.95 count for 70% I would like to see a grand total average worth per member as well as the avg. per product. Hope I explained myself well enough

				 | I love my CCBill checks, and look forward to seeing what is on tap. With the utmost due respect, the interface is just not that user friendly. One thing I'd love to see is the ability for signup emails to go out that tell from where, and what the referring url is. Also, when I rebill occurs, an email that tells me it happened, and for how many months that particular subscription has paid.

				 | Sorry I keep thinking of things... I would like an easier way to get the banners for a program. At the moment you click on the banners link and usually there is only one really old banner and all the links are to the same site. So, I have to then go hunt down the program's own page to find banners that they may or may not have. So, if there was anyway to allow them to make those banners available to me through the affiliate system is would probably speed up my work a great deal. |

				 | Been able to remove old programmes and sponsors is a must. I've had an affiliate account for years, but getting links is a pain in the ass... there's too many sponsors in their that I don't use, so I have to go through pages of sponsors to find what I'm looking for.

				 | Do you really need to have a new affiliate ID each time you sign up for a new program? Why not JUST your username and password instead of the need for IDs? instead of PA=Accountnumber, why not just PA=username
