I hate Christian rhetoric, but I guess I'll have to use a little to answer the question.

First of all, everyone's a sinner.

Secondly, I have many friends here. I don't need to give up contact with friends to comply with religion. In fact, last night I stayed at AaronM's studio. Right now I'm in Far-L's living room.

There's no reason to leave. That would make me exactly what I've hated all along. In the past I've really hated when friends become Christians and then decide not to talk to me anymore. I'll never be that way.

Besides, KRosh, God has personally told me I'm supposed to save YOUR soul. You. KRosh. Got mentioned you specifically.

Seriously, though, I'm not here to Bible bang and try to get people to change. I'm just done producing porn.

Included in the ********* cult agenda is to hang around the fringes of the porn industry and appear non-judgemental while trying to subtly spread their propaganda through a variety of means. Have no doubt, the ********* cult condems all forms of porn and even masturbation.

Whether Donny is following the ********* cult agenda remains to be seen...the convenient thing about Christianity is that many people whom profess to be Christians feel they can pick and choose what they like and don't like about it - that is why there are so many hypocrites and charlatans in the Christian religion (or should I say Christian religions, since they have so many sects which disagree with each other over fundamental beliefs/practices).

If Donny is not just hanging around to spread the ********* cult agenda, then he still has some serious issues. Who on this board has posted more pictures of themself, their fiancee, even their kid, or posted more about their personal life? Perhaps his ego and desire for attention is what blinds Donny from seeing the obvious inconsistencies and incompatibility between born-again Christian theology and the adult industry.

If Donny wants to give his life to Christ, yet still hang around with his porn buddies and the porn industry, in psychological terms that makes him co-dependent - meaning he will ulitmately be unfulfilled.

That he can't see the obvious contradications can only mean that he is still very conflicted and confused. I think people have overall been nice to him, myself included. None of his friends appear to have turned their backs on him. Most of the other comments have tried to get him to see the glaring incompatability of born-again Christianity and porn.

I am not picking on you man, and you are correct. NO ONE is without sin. I know you have lots of friends here and I am not saying you should leave!

That is great if you are done producing porn and more power to you. I stand by your decision and hope that it works out for you. I truly mean that.

It's just that any religious person I have ever known or know now, would never be involved on GFY or in our community. They are still my friends, they don't pass judgment on what i do, although they tell me it is not good, but they would NEVER get involved in this community.

My question was simple, is it or is it not a double standard?

Normally I don't get involved in these subjects but there was an incident in my past and this brings up some memories so I had to know!

For all others - I don't believe what we do is a sin, I was saying that a religious person would see it that way!

While I'm not a theologist or even a very enlightened person when it comes to all of the various sects - - I understand that some religions (such as catholicism) believe everybody is a sinner and you must repent to God and ask for forgiveness. The most righteous and moral individuals - are still turned on by something - be it a romance novel, "desperate housewives", maxim magazine, the delivery guy, your spouse or signifcant other. sex is a healthy thing. masturbation is another outlet for that energy. and porn helps facilitate some people's fantasies. just because we profit off of that... i don't believe that makes us sinners (note I also don't think masturbation or lust is a sin) ... anymore so than I think the producers of desperate housewives, or the editors of cosmo are sinning by making their material sexy and suggestive.

That's pretty deep coming from someone who can drink so much in so little time!
