It depends which airline, some airlines have banned Dell and Apple laptops because they use sony batteries that have been exploding and catching on fire.

You'll just have to let it go through x-ray and they might ask you to turn it on. But they aren't banned.

they arent banned but they make you take it out and put it into a seperate bin for the x-ray machine.
