I was using this for a week but reverted to my old one.
The scroll wheel proved to be much useful specially when moving the page up/down.

webcrawler,i just got this one. It has no scroll wheel as you said which is annoying, but you can program a button to do it. I have a microsoft one too,but the ball on the left part and i cant get used to it at all. Do you have pic of the one you use now?

Tried it for a while but no way could I get used to doing design or photochops with it. Great for Centipede though!

I use the Microsoft one and it rocks. It took me a day or 2 to get use to it and I would never go back to a "normal" mouse. It is so much easier on your wrist and forearm when you're spending 8 hours+ a day on the puter

The mouse is a flawed design that caught on. It's retarded to have a thing you drag all over your desk like a toy car (but call it a "mouse" because see, this cord is like a tail!). I can't believe turning the fucking thing upside down and using your fingers to move the ball wasn't suggested much earlier in the game.

You can always relearn. I thought that touch pad is impossible to use, but it took me one day. The same about trackball.

I have been using these since 2001. It's the best. I find that after using it a regular mouse feels very inefficient.

You get used to the ball within a week. Trust me, you will never want to use a regular mouse again.

Forget Mice. They _WILL_ give you carpal tunnel syndrome which is very painful.

I was getting early signs of CPT about 5 years ago and switched to one of these.

Think about it - you have been using a pen since about 5 years old - so using one of these puts no stress on your hand / wrist that you are not used to.

Also - no "double click" as you can programm the button on the side to be a double click when just pressed once.

This is THE best thing you can do to improve your computing comfort. Allow 2-3 days to get used to it and thank me later.

Only get Wacom - they are the best.

Also - for photoshop nothing compares.
