Its the largest, but its a hassle to upkeep since its riddled with exploits.

Yes it is without question. I prefer it over vb even. I've been running phpbb forums for years and have never had problems.
It doesn't have more security issues than vb, vb is paid so not open source. Phpbb is community based so exploits are found faster. |
