I love being a Canadian, but I also have enjoyed every American I have ever had the pleasure to meet or do business with. I agree that the USA has more economic opportunities than Canada (my home biz is selling vegan latex condoms in the American market) but the level of conservative Christian moral power over the masses and the racism definitely need to be addressed in the USA. Both countries have their good and bad points.

I don?t travel much at all? that said, the few times I have visited our chilly neighbor up North all I have ever seen is a healthy asian and indian population. I have *never* seen a black person there. Ever. Nada. Zilch. Zero. Where do they all go when I visit, do they go back to that ?underground railroad? and chill for a few days?

That said I?m sure you have some blacks there? and apparently (and quite sadly) you do have quite a few black immigrants (around 90% of your black population was not in Canada 25 years ago). Regardless, while Canada is no Sweden when it comes to a lack of black population (they do have some Africans though!), it is still a paradise when compared to America.

And I think I will go eat some cheesepie. Strawberry cheesepie... mmmmmm.

:You still haven't said where it is in Canada you visited. Here where I am we have a good cross-section of all races and nationalities including blacks.

I went to school with several black kids. On thinking back, and this goes back somewhat longer than 25 years, I can recall dozens.

Like I said, not a huge %, but they are here.

In the early 80's I worked for a while as a bouncer in a downtown bar here that was packed every weekend... all black people.

They're here dude. In every major Canadian city. A lot of them are fine fine FINE looking black women I must say. mm mm mm.

Look, in all seriousness, I live here for fuck sakes. Born and raised. I would not presume to try to tell you Americans "how it is" where you are, I'm not sure why so many of you do it to me. Christ sakes, come up here and I'll fucking SHOW you what the deal is here. I'll rub your faces in it if that's what's needed to get a point through your heads.

Interesting! I've lived in the South of USA the majority of my life and I guess I have a very skewed view on things. The capital here is very unsafe, probably one of the unsafest in the states at night; I have personally been in a car when a gang of blacks (dunno if it was just a bunch of them together or a real gang) came up to the vehicle and smashed the windows in with baseball bats trying to get the people out.

Another time (the opposite side of town at night) I and a friend were accosted by no less than ten blacks after a movie (Boyz n the hood I believe). I guess it was a lot our fault for seeing that movie in this area but god damn it? anyways, had some pretty nice medical bills after that though we caused some major damage to them as well lol.

Oh... mainly the western portions North from Washington, mainly in the BC region up and beyond Vancouver.
