Read john's post. He said he would release affiliate stats and that xclusive never even tried to get theses stats.

One thing I´m curious about is: are you as a program owner so totally dependent of the NATS crew?

I´m betatesting my paysite now using CCBill so far. If it will go public in the future NATS is an option for sure.

But I´m not such as big as reality cash for example and so I´m asking myself if it is a smart move to get dependent of another company, be it NATS or someone else.

If I get it right NATS can cancel or suspend your account which means there is no access to the account for the program owner any longer?

kinda funny. will be fun to watch this drama unfold in the long run.

My question is why would TMM at leats not send them a printout or a report or something so that they CAN pay affiliates... doesn't entail giving them access, but it doesn't seem fair to me for the affiliates to get punished for something that the program allegedly did.

they have already stated that they are willing to open up the stats so that NR can pay their affiliates, NR chose to go to sue TMM instead

it is all basically in the hands of NR at this point, and they don't seem to care about paying their affiliates

Honestly, it scares the hell out of me. With all due respect to all companies involved, I think one company having a monopoly, and so much control over other companies should raise red flags to people.

I see so many webmasters say "NATS rules" and they are right, it does rule, in more ways than one. It can destroy a program and they really don't have to prove anything, all they have to do is suspend the licence. You piss them off, they can suspend you,...their program has a bug, results are scewed, they blame you, it isn't your fault, they ruin your company,

Now I am not saying NATS would ever do this, what I am saying, that any company that has the power to basically shut down 1/3 or 1/4 of all sponsor programs has more power than I personally, as a webmaster am comfortable with.

Those webmasters who use "NATS only" programs have never stopped to think, what if for some reason NATS ceased to exist...they are fuxored!

um...NATS doesn't have a monopoly, in fact there are plenty of options out there, all with the same level of control that NATS has

fact is, using any leased software has it's issues

what about CC processors like ccbill / epoch....they have access to enormous amounts of data on a minute by minute basis and could cripple a business at any moment

what makes TMM different than any other company you lease priority backend software from?

And CCBill? Paycom? Large hosts?

Do you really think it would be in our best interests to as you said, "their program has a bug, results are scewed, they blame you, it isn't your fault, they ruin your company,"?

Regarding "what if for some reason NATS ceased to exist"; as most of our clients know our source code as well as a client list is in escrow and updated monthly with our attorneys. Should we ever go out of business the source code would be distributed to our clients.

I know its fun to "bash the big guy" but please, if you do it, have some facts to back yourself up. Or at least learn a little bit about the company and the people behind it before you try to scare people from using us.

oh, they aren't keeping them....brandi keeps writing on her blog about how she is buying laptops, taking trips, etc....the money is funding their party lives, while affiliates are owed thousands upon thousands of dollars
