Poppy, Lisa, Rey Rey, Mark, and myself were invited down to Nikki's Beach in South Beach, by Raja of Sex Search.

We were having a great time, enjoying the music, being out on the beach, mojito's and great company.

Mark Womack I guess was looking for smokes and opened up a pack, inside were Rophynol's, aka Roofies. Mark threw that shit away asap, and we all dumped our drinks.

I'm chilling laying down on the beds they have at our table, and Rey Rey is complaining his stomach hurts. Within 20 minutes, he is gone to the world. I've seen this man drink bottles of alcohol, and he had less than 2 drinks. So we figured, Roofies.

Who the fuck gets off on this shit? Really? Fucking with people like that? I was fucking livid, totally killed my good feeling vibe. I talked to Rey a little while ago as he was boarding the plane, and he STILL sounds out of it, and remembers flashes of last night, but all hazy.

Poppy and Lisa were getting offered drinks at the bar, which they turned down, fucked up.

I'm not sure I understand, are you saying the people at the bar selling drinks and smokes were putting drugs in them? Or did I miss something?

I've been at Nikki Beach several times and always had a great time there, a lot of drugs are done on that beach, but typically by the users themselves directly.

I was there with a few friends lastnight, I thought I recognized some industry people, but didnt think anything of it.

Man I am so sick of the shit at that place, they really need to fire all the lifeless bartenders that are 40 + and hire some in the 20s.. The lady we had behind the bar was completely useless, fucked up the drinks 3 times, and then had the nerve to tell me she wouldnt serve me next time.

Reminds me of an incident at a show in Atlanta back in 2001. Someone slipped a roofie into a chicks drink and her husband drank it. He went down so hard I believe he broke his arm. Fucked up that people have to do shit like that.

I have seen that happen in SB in the past and in summer of 2003 I was in Vegas every weekend when I lived in LA and used to stay at the Palm and I kid you not every weekend someone was taken out on a stretcher from Ghost bar....turned out that people in the bar were doing it to people in the bar then when they passed out they got there walletts

seriously, the same thing happened to me 3 months ago

i was at a bar with my friends, having drinks, i had about 2 beers in an hour and then next thing i know im falling down cant even see properly, and i had to be carried out...someone drugged me

usually i down 7-10 beers in 1-2 hours without a problem...ugh

I have a friend that was at a college party a couple years ago and somebody drugged her. She totally flipped out, started running around the room, and would only speak in Spanish (Spanish was her second language). She ended up running into a door and popping a vein in her eye. She had a black eye for quite some time and it took well over a month for her eye to start working properly again. Campus police ended up charging her and she got stuck with 6 months in therapy. Funny how that happens.

I can see why somebody would drug a girl to get in her pants (obviously I'm not condoning that), but what possible reason does somebody have to drug another that they have no intention of taking advantage of? What is the motive? Just doesn't make sense. Strange people are among us. I wonder how many GFYers think "roofies" are "cool".

I have a friend that was at a college party a couple years ago and somebody drugged her. She totally flipped out, started running around the room, and would only speak in Spanish (Spanish was her second language). She ended up running into a door and popping a vein in her eye. She had a black eye for quite some time and it took well over a month for her eye to start working properly again. Campus police ended up charging her and she got stuck with 6 months in therapy. Funny how that happens. I can see why somebody would drug a girl to get in her pants (obviously I'm not condoning that), but what possible reason does somebody have to drug another that they have no intention of taking advantage of? What is the motive? Just doesn't make sense. Strange people are among us.
