Texans aren't rednecks, they are texan's...a whole different breed from rednecks.

Rednecks are Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennesee, Mississippi, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, & parts of Florida/Virginia.

Rednecks north of the mason dixon line are simply reffered to as "trashy or tacky".

Not sure what the term for them is out west? Cowboys?

I beg to differ the Dallas Cowboys are great, or will be again shortly! They had to spend a few years "rebuilding", but "THEY'RE BACK!!".
