Your trying to move the issue away to other stuff. Like did bush do this, or how could people keep quite. I never said that 9/11 didnt happen the way it was presented to us on the TV.

Im trying to figure out why all the evidence from the WTC and the pentagon was taken out so fast. Controlled domolition Inc. hauled all the metal off in trucks with GPS sensors into barges to be shippped off to china. Why so fast?

All airplane crashes are taken over by the NTSB. What happened to them?

No, thats not what I ment.

People didnt believe President Clinton what he said on Fox News so they spent $60million to investigate it.

People didnt believe the official story from the Government about 9/11, so they spent $3million to investigate it.

Spending $3million to investigate 9/11. Seems the American people didnt get there moneys worth.

Zogby Poll: Over 70 Million American Adults Support New 9/11 Investigation

Utica, NY (PRWEB) May 22, 2006 -- 911Truth.org urges 2006 reform candidates to recognize a powerful new constituency.

Although the Bush administration continues to exploit September 11 to justify domestic spying, unprecedented spending and a permanent state of war, a new Zogby poll reveals that less than half of the American public trusts the official 9/11 story or believes the attacks were adequately investigated.

The poll is the first scientific survey of Americans' belief in a 9/11 cover up or the need to investigate possible U.S. government complicity, and was commissioned to inform deliberations at the June 2~4 "9/11: Revealing the Truth, Reclaiming our Future" conference in Chicago. Poll results indicate 42% believe there has indeed been a cover up (with 10% unsure) and 45% think "Congress or an International Tribunal should re-investigate the attacks, including whether any US government officials consciously allowed or helped facilitate their success" (with 8% unsure). The poll of American residents was conducted from Friday, May 12 through Tuesday, May 16, 2006. Overall results have a margin of sampling error of +/- 2.9. All inquiries about questions, responses and demographics should be directed to Zogby International.

According to Janice Matthews, executive director of 911truth.org, "To those of us who have followed the mounting evidence for US government involvement in 9/11, these results are both heartening and frankly quite amazing, given the mainstream media's ongoing refusal to cover the most critical questions of that day. Our August 2004 Zogby poll of New Yorkers showed nearly half believe certain U.S. officials 'consciously' allowed the attacks to happen and 66% want a fresh investigation, but these were people closest to the tragedy and most familiar with facts refuting the official account. This revelation that so many millions nationwide now also recognize a 9/11 cover up and the need for a new inquiry should be a wake up call for all 2006 political candidates hoping to turn this country around. We think it also indicates Americans are awakening to the larger pattern of deceit that led us into Constitutional twilight and endless war, and that our independent media may have finally come of age."

Poll co-author W. David Kubiak concurs, saying "Despite years of relentless media promotion, whitewash and 9/11 Commission propaganda, the official 9/11 story still can't even muster 50% popular support. Since this myth has been the administration's primary source of political and war-making power, this level of distrust has revolutionary implications for everyone working for peace, justice and civil liberties. If we ever hope to reclaim this country, end aggression and restore international respect, we all must finally scrutinize that day when things started to go so terribly wrong. The media and movement leaders ignore this call at their peril, because tens of millions are clearly telling us here they are ready for 9/11 truth."

SCOPE: The poll covered five related areas: 1) Iraq - do Americans think the Bush administration exploited 9/11 to attack Iraq? (44% do, 44% don't); 2) Cover up - did the government and its 9/11 Commission conceal or refuse to investigate evidence that contradicts their official story? (only 48% said no); 3) The collapse of WTC 7, which was not even mentioned by the 9/11 Commission and has seldom been reported in the media -were respondents aware of this collapse and, if so, did they think it should be investigated (only 52% knew about it, but over 70% of this group believe it should have been investigated); 4) new investigation of official complicity - do respondents think we need one? (only 48% said no); and 5) mass media - how do people rate its performance, including its coverage of alternative 9/11 theories, unanswered questions and inquiry issues? (43% rate it positively, 55% negatively).

(Poll sponsors see knowledge of the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 as a bellwether issue, because if people do not know this elementary fact, they have probably not been exposed to any independent 9/11 research at all. Since only 52% of respondents had ever heard of this collapse and 45% support a reinvestigation, it may be reasonably inferred that a public fully informed of all the unreported 9/11 facts might support a new investigation by a margin of 80% or more.)

Now, I have a question.

How do I know that figure of "70 million Americans" wasn't pulled out of someone's ass to add weight to the conspiracy side's argument?

And, if there was a poll or petition etc, how do I know that wasn't padded and tampered with too?

Come to that, how do I know "Tdog" isn't one of thousands of people working for the conspiracy9/11 side, sent to spread dissent among the masses?

How do I know you're not hitting me with some horrid hypno-ray from this very thread as I type?

Damn you're right, this conspiracy thing is fun. :D

Flight 800 was investigated by the NTSB and all other airplane crashes with a final NTSB report number. Why are the 4 planes on 9/11 not investigated by the NTSB?? Is my tinfoil hat on? Am I seeing this wrong?

Long story short, 20 well placed camel jockeys can bring a country to it's knees and create a lot of stupid speculation. Think they succeeded?
Also saw the piece Lou Dobbs did last night on how easy it is to get into the US at border crossings. Unfortunately I suspect that round two is not too far off in the distance.

Damn I avoided this thread earlier as did not want another mind numbing session of conspiracy freaks and their inane dribble! But nice to see 12 clicks has introduced a nice combo of piss taking and realism into the subject - even if the usual suspects have not taken the hint and bored us all to death with their tedious theories!

More tedious theories please.

If I'm going to drown in a sea of conspiracy it needs to be deeper than this.

I think this is what the government owes the people of DC and NY, since they halted attempts by local authorities at investigations.

I'm not a conspiracy guy who thinks a missile hit the Pentagon and Aliens blew up the trade center. I'm just a New Yorker who wants a real investigation and to see some evidence that Bin Laden was responsible. CNN saying so on Sept 11th does not equal proof beyond a reasonable doubt in my mind.

I don't see what people like you consider so unreasonable about what I'm saying. It's crazy to want an independent investigation into the worst crime in American history? Yet, it's perfectly reasonable to accept that Bin Laden did it, "because the government says so"? You should like the nutcase to me.

Holy fuck, you gotta hear the NORAD tapes. What a totally disorganized and unprepared air defense network we have.

Hit the PLAY excerpts throughout the page.

I always thought the military had their shit together. After listening to those you realize they don't.

I thought he was calling it a false fag operation. You know how the republicans hate "the gays"

Anyone who watched the news that day, do you remember that black javelin looking thing that sped past as a plane was about to crash? What the hell was that?

What amazes me is that people acutally believe the buildings collapsed because of the damage sustained from the airplane impacts and resulting fires. Pure idiocy I say. Anyone who believes that inane shit should be shot. Arguing that the towers sole reason for collapse was NOT intentional and executed by the use of explosives is like saying sex doesn't sell and that porn sites are not profitable. Some people are affraid to open their eyes, ears, and mind's and throw out religion and pretencious thoughts. Those people need to go back to junior high and re-take physical science.

Awesome!

So they compiled their report, fully investigated it, all in less time than it took to investigate what really happened in Monica Lewinsky's mouth. I guess they just learned the first time to not spend so much on investigations and buy the most obvious answer.

To anyone who agree's with 12clicks post, please go rent the following movies:

Wag The Dog
Lord of War
The Truman Show

"Naturally, the common people don't want war, but after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy, or a facist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country."

So you think Hollywood spun fiction is a good way to change people's mind on whether this conspiracy theory is bullshit or not? Movies are great sources of entertainment, but that's all they are...fiction, actors, and scenarios dreamed up from someones imagination. Much like conspiracy theories though, hmm, maybe you shouldn't watch movies like that as it's made you a little addle minded.

Funny thing is, Wag The Dog, is partially responsible for Bill Clinton's weak response to the embassy bombings in Africa. Clinton was having the Lewinsky problem at the time, which kind of crippled him a bit, but then his response was further crippled by every news media pointing to a "Wag The Dog" theory. Amazing that Americans are starting to let their policy be dictated by movies, lol.

I am always amused when Hitler gets brought into a discussion. Hitler wasn't just some dude that ran around saying "hey, let's burn the Jews!".

After World War I, Germany was in bad, bad shape. Hitler fixed that. He put roofs over the heads of many, he put food on their plates, he put money in their pockets. A man that can turn a country around is going to have a LOT of influence and clout. When he pushed forward with his ideals the people thought "hey, he got us here, maybe he's right." To think that you would be immune to similar thinking in the same circumstances is pushing it a bit.

Somehow everybody seems to think they're a "free thinker". Nobody is a free thinker, we all have our beliefs and ideals and tend to sway towards and listen to others with those same ideals.

So the tapes that Bin Laden made claiming responsibility aren't enough? I know a lot of people like to use the argument "When in history has a skyscraper EVER collapsed because of fire?" By that same argument, when in the history of Al'Qaeda have they EVER claimed responsibility for something they didn't do?

yeah...nevermind the fact that you would need a ton of planning, demo teams, engineers, a shitload of explosives and a few weeks to get set up for a "controlled demo" of the buildings.

thats my favorite paradox of the "its a conspiracy" crowd... the very idea itself, demands we believe that Bush, with all the style, flair and brilliance of a drunk baboon pulled off the biggest, most well executed, best kept secret conspiracy in the history of the word...but then again, they can't defend him as being intelligent either.

what to do
what to do...

LOL, I don't know how many times I've had to say this and the conspiracy theory people keep skipping over it. Nothing says fun like taking a leap from your senses and ignoring logic.

Yeh, I always find that entertaining. Every day of the year we hear how stupid Bush is, how he can't do this or that, how he falls off a bike, how he can't save the people in New Orleans, how he can't get people out of Lebanon, how he can't win a war... and yet, somehow he has the evil intelligence of organizing a massive internal strike within 9 months of taking office AND has the ability to cover it up. He must be one incredible actor, he should win an Emmy every year.

Amazing. Those 9 months must have fried his brain cells.

By the way, 12, I responded to your ICQ but didn't hear back. Did you need something?
