Go to the www.thepluginsite.com and buy Focalblade, this ps plug can sharpen your pics or add them that glamour look, it is up to you. Cheap and does great work.

Here's a formula that was posted on GFY about a month ago:
in photoshop: adjust brightness and contrast: + 15 - 20 filter | smart blur | : radius between 1 and 3 threshold between 10 and 30 quality low mode normal duplicate later. select new, duplicate layer. filter | gaussian blur: radius = 5 change layer mode: soft light adjust opacity as needed. work with the numbers a little. try using sharpen edges 2x .... and shadow highlight.. use it before cropping and resizing the pics..
