Thumbnail cropping for tgp - Optimisation

I used to have my actions all set before my computers got robbed...

I need to prepare a new gallery set, so what's the secret to make them look smooth ? ;)

Neat Image does a pretty good job. You can batch them.

I'm looking for the formula in photoshop to smooth the edges mostly... I remember half of it but I don't know exactly.

Go to the www.thepluginsite.com and buy Focalblade, this ps plug can sharpen your pics or add them that glamour look, it is up to you. Cheap and does great work.

Here's a formula that was posted on GFY about a month ago:

in photoshop:
adjust brightness and contrast:
+ 15 - 20

filter | smart blur | :
radius between 1 and 3
threshold between 10 and 30
quality low
mode normal

duplicate later.
select new, duplicate layer.

filter | gaussian blur:
radius = 5

change layer mode: soft light

adjust opacity as needed.

work with the numbers a little.

Thanks for the great tip!
