I have 2 HD capable edit systems. Over 1000 royalty free music library (all cool songs, none of that fake synth crap) and I can animate anything you want (I happen to be a special effects expert).

As nice as all that sounds....I'm not sending my content through Canadian Customs to get edited.

U.S. based editors only please. Nothing personal, it's just that shit vanishes and or is held up in customs all the time....Especially Canadian Customs.

It depends on how you send it. I get 2-3 packages a week from US clients. Its been held up maybe 3 times in the last 6-7 months. I also had to go and get a special import permit from customs due to the number of packages I receive.

I fully understand why'd you loathe sending ur stuff through customs. But just letting ya know it can be done IF done right.

I'm convinced they have me flagged. I've sent through multiple carriers to multiple companies multiple ways and they almost always have problems getting there.

I love Canada but hate their Customs.

You could possibly be flagged. I worked for the Canadian Customs for awhile and yup they do have a flagging system.

But in my experience, if you send your stuff through over night UPS and right down your mini-dv tapes are gifts, they don't usually stop the package.

I can edit for you. I do alot of the editing for Topbucks (their DVDs). You can ask Alii or anyone in pink visuals for recommendation. they are doing HD now, and i am working in FCP so HD is not a problem. I wish I was Canadian sometimes, but I am located in AZ if that helps.
