Yup, got the same Email.

Just got off the phone with them myself. theres about 1600 bucks sitting in my "Account" waiting to be paid to me, from transactions that I have never authorized. Fact, they NOR Ibill has the ablility to write to my password file so they are rebilling customers that have no access to my site. Course they want me to add thier buttons to my join page yada yada, to get paid out the money. Doubt I would ever see it even if I did.

Sad also, cause I have no contact information for the people that they are rebilling. I have send out a email to everyone that was billing though Ibill to have them come back under another biller and to inform them of the issues, the ones left rebilling are those that I have incorrect contact information for.

I wrote them back last time that I was not using them, would never use them, and that they could go fuck themselves. But, yet, I still get that same stupid email you got today.

They are fucking clueless.

The good old "Use us or else" marketing strategy never works on me.

Here are the emails that I have sent them in response to the ones they have sent me.... I think I would have made it VERY clear by now. But they are STILL processing the rebills...

What's happing with current rebills? Are you processing them? If so, Are you sending out payment on them or is Ibill. If you are processing the current rebills, then you should not need information that I have already provided to Ibill when the account was openned. You have my banking information already on file in order to send my payment. Also, If I don't want to provide all the info your asking for, and not continue with any new processing, how does that effect my rebills. You have to understand that Ibill currently owes me well over 10 thousand dollars. And I'm not going to do any new processing with any company working with them. If All my past due accounts with Ibill are settled then and only then could we even talk about new processing.

Still, we not interested in your service. We have plenty of processing with other 3rd party billing companies which are doing just fine and in addition, provide the kind of support we would expect from a processor commanding the type of fee's that 3rd party processors require. The support from Both Ibill in the past, AND your company Etelgate, has not even come close to meet those demands. Instead, when we do actually reach support, we are told that we can not be helped and to contact the other party. We have send out emails to all of our customers which unfortunately used Ibill or any services by Ibill, informing them of our separation from Ibill and/or any other party acting in their behalf and are manually removing their access to our sites since we have been unable to receive any support on this matter. Personally, with what we have gone though in being one of the few who stood by Ibill these last 2 years hoping for a resolution to the issues currently in front of us, at this point we could care less what happens to Ibill or any company bedding with them. We find the actions Ibill has taken to be criminal, and have shared 100% of our information pertaining to the dept and transactions owed to us by Ibill, including all correspondence past between Ibills representaves and us, directly to the Florida District Attorneys Office and hope to see those responsible behind bars.

Untill past payment of money owed by Ibill is secured, there will be no further processing allowed by Ibill or any partners working with Ibill. This includes your company. I have NOT authorized the transfer of the old accounts to your company. I have NOT authorized any billing, of any sort, including rebilling of any account that was generated by Ibill processing with your company. Ibills links, have been pulled from my sites and all members with Ibill accounts have been mailed on this. If your processing any rebills from Ibill on any account that is spose to be going to my websites, then you are doing so illegally.

I have filed a complaint with the Internet Crime Center on this and will be working with them to provide them with all information I have pertaining this travisty.

A lot of us got burnt with Ibill and then the chnge over to Etelegate, we were with Ibill for 2 1/2 years, and went thorough losing a ton of cash, the only thing stopping us from changing over was "How to get around 800 members to transfer over to a new billing company without loosing credibility" we were not prepared to take that chace, we received all the usual monthly promises and shit from Ibill.....nothing materialized, all they threw at us was a bone every now and then coupled with a new promise. Then the change over to Etelegate without even telling us. That was the last straw, we cut of Ibill and went on board with Paycom and they have been great, setting up was easy and they really went out of their way to change us over, our rep FRANK GANNON was excellent and really got things moving for us. We had our own merchant account which saved our asses, so while we were changing over we contacted all our members and gave them the offer to chage over at a discount rate onto our own merchant account, a lot of members did change over but we did still loose many through the change, but we are getting returning members every day now which is a good sign. It was a major decision for us to make but in the end it was for the best, we are back on track after being screwed so badly by Ibill, they owe us a fortune but we have written that off to experience, we would rather spnd our time pushing our site to the next level instead of wasting time and energy and loosing potential sales and rebills by putting our resources into fighting Ibill and chasing a lost cause....
We have just started an affiliates programme for our site, the official launch will be within a couple of days. We were lucky that we had the financial resources to ride the wave that was created by Ibill but by staying on course and being focused on the prize we got through it, it was not easy but then we do have a great site that does retain members and that does help. Our members were a great motivational factor and now we are smiling once again. I say get rid of Ibill and move forward, it was the best thing we could have ever done. They did try and process a couple of memberships after we left, we reimbursed those members and manually checked every day to make sure there were no recurring billing, luckily for us there were no more, but I hear not everyone was that lucky. I will say thanks to paycom and our loyal member base.....we got through.

I just saw the Internet Crime Complaint Center on one of the posts, I will also send all the info we have regarding our situation with them, hopefully the more that send info in something might be done - hopefully it will stop them. As far as we are concerened we have written the money off, but if it helps others from getting screwed by them in the future......Can you believe they still advertise....

Basically, IBill did have the rights to sell your customers card numbers to someone else for processing, check your old contracts. The clients don't really belong to you, they belong to IBill, and now eTelegate or whoever they are calling themselves at this point.

It's a sad fact of life but there it is.

Trouble's going to be criminal for IBill/eTelegate/whoever keeps on processing transactions on these consumer cards while knowing that these consumers do not have any access to the site they are expecting to be rebilled for (if they actually know they are being rebilled) and they won't get any access to most of the sites I am guessing. This is fraud in a nutshell, billing cards for services that you know will not be provided and then waiting on the consumers to figure it out and get chargebacks or I'm sure credits, if they call into or email customer support at the billing company.

I'd suggest you also file a complaint with the FTC. You aren't the consumer in the case directly, but if some of the rumors are true there is a very good possibility that the word IBill will trigger your report to be forwarded to an office that cares, instead of just the standard "you arent the consumer, you cant complain" response.

And if they've billed any of your test cards (ie your own card you used to sign up to your site or anyone else's while they were in business) then you certainly do become the consumer in this case...

I think we are just farting in the wind here. But, what the hell. It didn't take much to file the complaint. Its actually the second as I did register a complaint with the Florida District Attorneys Office also. I have sent an email to [email protected] to finally have the account shut down as per thier instructions. Hopefully, this will be the last of it.
