Ok so it turns out they are not orphaned. THe SPCA told me I shouldn't see them but the refuge said they venture out of the den when their mom is sleeping.
We were instructed to let them out and see if they head to the same spot. If they do the mother is probably okay. We let them out and they both went straight across the road to my neighbors house. I couldn't follow because I didn't want the neighbor to think we were stalkers (I had a big telephoto lens on my camera). We will keep an eye out for them but it looks like we jumped to conclusions. Usually you never see a baby animal without it's mother so we were unserstandably concerned. Claire and I both wanted to de-scent them and keep them as pets. I did some research and they make the best pets because they are so friendly. We already have too many pets though.
