I disagree.
The lakers from a few years back were like the yankees when they bought up superstars like they were going out of style. Payton, Bryant, Shaq, and Malone at the same time!? And those were just the big names. That team had the same result as the yankees in recent years...Rodriguez, Johnson, Giambi, Sheffield added to the club.....no championships.

Heat are nothing like the Yankees - can't do that shit in the NBA cuz there's a fairly hard salary cap - Wade is still under his rookie contract which is pretty modest. Wade's payday comes this summer - they'll be locked into two huge contracts then - they have to hope that Shaq doesn't deteriorate too fast cuz they're stuck with that contract for at least 2 more years
