I'm a fan of noobs, but there comes a time when chances given and a desire to help somebody new get off the ground has to be measured against the liability of associating yourself with someone who just doesn't get it.

It's a sad thing, but smart business requires distancing yourself from people and situations that (under the least damaging of circumstances) embarass you, and (under the worst circumstances) hurt your own business --

Truth is your wasting your time trying to teach certain people some of the things you know in this industry.

Some just don't have the brains to succeed but most of em are just plain lazy and don't have the motivation to put hard work into anything.

Work ethic is certainly something that has changed over the past 30 years, young people in general just don't have the same work ethic that past generations have had

So, I am learning.

This industry has certain "special challenges" that put a strain on professionalism. I think some young people coming in see the pictures and assume it's all a great big party. Personality differences are to be expected. I think I'm easy. But the group of people I will vouch for has just been reduced by 2.
