I'm a fan of noobs, but there comes a time when chances given and a desire to help somebody new get off the ground has to be measured against the liability of associating yourself with someone who just doesn't get it.

It's a sad thing, but smart business requires distancing yourself from people and situations that (under the least damaging of circumstances) embarass you, and (under the worst circumstances) hurt your own business -- :2 cents:

This industry has certain "special challenges" that put a strain on professionalism. I think some young people coming in see the pictures and assume it's all a great big party. Personality differences are to be expected. I think I'm easy. But the group of people I will vouch for has just been reduced by 2.
