That may be the current US troop casualties. The damage is far more substantial with many more 1000's of Iraqi men, women and children who have died and who never played any role in the purported "war with no justification".

Some stats on the massive "coalition of the willing" list.

Armenia has 46 soldiers, medical and logistical support. Albania has 125 non-combat troops. Australia has 450 troops - 120 are assigned to protecting their embassy. Apart from the US and UK, the highest numbers of troops supplied by other countries is from Korea - with a total of 3300 - who are engaged on repairing infrastructure, but currently being withdrawn.

The moment any country offers to send a military vet to Iraq to take care of zoo animals, you are assured that country will end up on the "coalition of the willing" list

Saddam could never have turned into anything akin to Hitler except for his own idealogies... he (and his country) lacked the resources to become a significant threat to anyone outside of the middle east. That region has only one natural resource, oil. They do not produce steel or any other materials to produce weapons with, they are entirely dependant upon what is given to them by outside countries.

A mere trade embargo completely decimated that country to the point where the only people left capable of fighting were forced to resort to guerilla tactics.

The notion that they could have ever turned into some type of significant threat or superpower without another country aiding them significantly just doesn't add up.

And if anyone thinks for one second that the shit whole hornets nest called the Middle East is not full of idiots just waiting to blow up Western Civilization because of their own religious belief's and hate, and yes that includes Europe as a target too, then you are a fool who needs to open your eyes and start believing what you see not seeing what you believe. If we sat on our asses, like you would want us to do, then trust me more than 2500 men would die. They can?t afford to fight us there and here. But I understand how some people think, America sucks, and should be blown up and the radical Islamic people are justified to blow up anyone they feel at any time. We should just stay here and let the Middle East grow their weapons and blow up Israel, then parts of Europe and then on to America. We deserve it! Oh and you left out over 3000 men women and children on Sept 11th. Yes I know Saddam didn?t have anything to do with that directly, but he funded a lot of terrorist and he was a HUGE source in helping the whole terrorist progress emerge into the next SS army. He would have been another Hitler but only in the Middle East. Spreading Democracy in the center of that hornets nest is a great start. AmateurFlix Confirmed User Industry Role: Join Date: Jul 2004 Posts: 7,762	Saddam could never have turned into anything akin to Hitler except for his own idealogies... he (and his country) lacked the resources to become a significant threat to anyone outside of the middle east. That region has only one natural resource, oil. They do not produce steel or any other materials to produce weapons with, they are entirely dependant upon what is given to them by outside countries. A mere trade embargo completely decimated that country to the point where the only people left capable of fighting were forced to resort to guerilla tactics. The notion that they could have ever turned into some type of significant threat or superpower without another country aiding them significantly just doesn't add up. __________________
