Coolness.com - no help for paying customers

I just cancelled my coolness.com pay account. These guys have not fixed a directory creation error that I started getting about two months ago.

After repeated e-mails to support they reassured me that they would fix the problem, it still remains.

Here is the last replay on April 30th, keep in mind that this is about my 3rd attempt and getting help over the months and the subject is "Support, where are you?" At one point they stated that it was fixed, yeah... right.

True.. directory creation after 100 directories is an issue on the freehost right now and is in our bug database for resolution. It's going to get fixed.

This was brought to our attention on 3/28. I informed NelsonN that it was a bug and we are working on it.

NelsonN subscription payments have been refunded.

When did you inform me of this? This is the first information you have provided on this problem. I have looked thru all my e-mail replies from you and I couldn't find any mention of this bug.

All I was thinking was that there was an ulterior motive behind this.

I didn't want to cancel and I sure didn't want a refund. I wanted an answer.

Just look at the last e-mail replies I posted here from you. Very vague, no mention of a problem or a fix.

There is no reason for you to have lost me as a customer. All you had to do was reply like you did here and I would have been satisfied.

I wont waste my time e-mailing you,

I sent two e-mails from my hotmail account, which is the account I use on paypal. They were both ignored, I then e-mailed from my celebritybase.net address, you replied that it was fixed, it was not. I then e-mailed you and you replied "that you I will look into it," but you did not follow that up to tell me of the bug.

I then e-mailed again, asking you to tell me what the status was on my problem, you ignored me.

Frustrated, I e-mailed twice again (May 5th and 12), saying I was going to stop using your services and you ignored that too. Two opportunities to tell me what the problem was. You didn't reply.

Now your going to say that you informed me about what was going on? This is the first time I was made aware of the bug and you did that only because I posted on a public forum.

Don't e-mail me telling me how you informed me of what was going on, we both know you didn't. E-mail me telling me how you intend on getting me back as a customer, then we will chat.

This is almost sad. Someone gets ignored in email for months and is driven to the point where they feel they have to vent on a public board, then starts talking about what it would take to go back as a customer?

$25.00 to be on a free host server with no banners? LOL. That whole idea is funny. I wonder how many newblers bought into that.

Y'all seem to be missing the fact that there are three sides to every story.

Ray says he mailed Nelson the 28th, Nelson says he didn't get it.

Nelson has his money back, Ray's asked him to get in touch with him directly.

Nelson doesn't want to.

If the service was so bad two months ago, why would Nelson have continued on there, especially paying for it?

My guess is that the whole story hasn't surfaced yet. There's still at least one side left to come out.

I am being beaten, for what... posting? And how can some of you say such and such person is good, bad, or evil. I work with a lot of people online and I would not be so quick to judge. I don't know any of them personally to say so, for all I know they can be serial killers.

It wasn't fixed.

Again I received an e-mail reply, after several attempts to get an answer, that it has been fixed, e-mail received on (pretty long time):

Monday, April 29, 2002 10:18 AM

It wasn't fixed.

I checked everytime during this time, which is why I stayed on. No mention, of a bug, and no more e-mail replies from coolness.com until today, because I posted here.

At least, if nothing else, I got a reply. I don't see the point of loosing even one customer. Do you? I would have replied and made sure an understanding was reached with my customer. The adult business isn't immune to sound business practices.

"I am looking into it?," exactly what was he looking into for so long? Do you see the problem? I had no idea what he was looking into for so long. Now, if he has said "I found a bug, it is going to take time to fix," that is very different than "I am looking into it."

I wont post anymore. I just wanted to make sure people who wanted the service knew that there was a problem.

I thought I was tipping others, I guess not.

there must have been some sort of miscommunication Nelson,..... maybe you used some fucked up hotmail account to mail him on the problem or something that never got there.... either that or you just plain fucked up some other way.... Ray is a stand up guy and runs a solid operation over there....
