And King Adam, I know this is going too far because I believe you lack any knowledge outside of the adult world, but appeal to the majority is a logical fallacy.

STFU...you don't have a clue buddy.

The only time they ever compare him to Magic is when it's something to do with his passing ability. You ever watch a fuckin' game on TV? There are few games on TV that before the game/during the game they're not talking about LeBron and the comparison to Jordan. Last night they talked about it for several minutes before the game. That's when Pippen said what he said.

All you do again, is blab, blab, blab...yet don't back anything up with facts...and for the record I'm not a Cleveland fan, I'm a LeBron James fan.

BannerDept 05-06-2006 06:08 PM

It's kinda fucked that you can't take something from what Pippen said last night...you brush it off like Pippen's clueless. The only one that's clueless is you.

So tell me how I have no common sense? or concept of reality?

The Demon 05-06-2006 06:43 PM

Well with your logic of appeal to the majority, Kobe Bryant is more of an MVP than Lebron according to NBA.com.. Way to go tiger... Who's more clutch? Kobe. Who you'd want to take your last shot? Kobe. Fanboyism doesn't play into logic. ANd if you want to list Lebron's feats as the "Youngest player", you should be comparing them to MJ's first 3 full years in the NBA, where he was unstoppable. And no, back then you couldn't jump from HS straight into the NBA, so your point is moot. Try again.

Show me where on NBA.com they say Kobe is more of an MVP than LeBron. Stop making shit up man. Is that why LeBron was ahead of Kobe in MVP voting this year?

LeBron's just as clutch as Kobe...did you miss the two game winners he had in the playoffs? and the two game winners and couple game winning assists he had in the final month of the season.

and yes you could jump from high school to the NBA.

Also, LeBron as I said already...at 21 this season had an all round season that Jordan couldn't compare to until he was 26. Keep shooting off about things you don't know about...you're just making yourself look stupider.

BannerDept 05-06-2006 07:01 PM

Jordan at 22....... 28.2 points a game, 6.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists

James at 21........ 31.4 points a game, 7.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists

BannerDept 05-06-2006 07:03 PM

next season James will become the first player to ever score 35 points a game, have 7 assists and 7 rebounds a game for the season.

I'd also bet that within the next 5 years we'll see him score 40 PPG for a season, while still being a team player.

You're one of the most ignorant fucks on here...you said NBA.com? Show me on NBA.com

And if Kobe's better and had a better season why didn't he get more votes than LeBron for MVP this year? Can you answer one fuckin' question...without writing more bullshit?

The Demon 05-06-2006 07:58 PM

I can't find it on otherwise I would have, but I just used your own logic in deciding who's better, so who's the real ignorant fuck? Next time try to contsruct a better argument and not seem like a jackass.

Strange, Lebron is usually either 3rd or 4th in the polls..
How many more polls do you want til you realize your logic is moronic.

Axeman 05-06-2006 08:10 PM

Without a doubt Lebron is a better basketball player. Kobe can score, but he is selfish as can be. Lacks basketball smarts.

The Demon 05-06-2006 08:11 PM

Kobe doesn't lack smarts, he's just selfish. Lebron is a playmaker.. But the ability to take over a game belongs more to Kobe than Lebron.

You keep showing how little you watch either of these players. If you would have even watched the Cleveland vs. Washington series you wouldn't be saying that. LeBron took over every game.

The Demon 05-06-2006 09:18 PM

I did watch the series, in fact I watch more NBA than you and I can tell when someone is verbally fellating somebody else. You still fail to understand the Kobe is a pure scorer while Lebron is a playmaker. Maybe you conveniently forgot their regular season games when Kobe mauled Lebron.

Vitasoy 05-07-2006 01:43 AM

I'd say they're about equal during the regular season, and James slightly better in the playoffs

gecko 05-07-2006 04:49 AM

What scary is... he'll be even better next year

King Adam 05-07-2006 07:35 AM

Yo Demon ... where's all you smack talk now?

Your boy was 0 - 3 in the 2nd half with 1 point. I don't want to hear one more word about how awesome he is and how he's better than Lebron. Last night proved it all and proved you have no idea what you are talking about.

What do you mean my boy? When was he ever my boy? Oh because I talk facts that makes him my boy. And wait, 1 game decides his skill is below Lebron? Your incompetence shows that you are from Cleveland, you have to be. There's no response to a stupid post like the one you just made. When Lebron gets mauled today I'll use your logic, and say he he proved that he was worse than Kobe, I'd like to see you contradict your own logic. It's funny arguing with simple people.

You are so funny. If Lebron goes 0-whatever in a half with 1 point, I'll ePass you $100 and shut my face.

Kobe sucks. Lakers suck. They lost 3 games in a row. Kobe is supposed to be a MVP candidate and the bum didn't even get a field goal the whole second half. That will NEVER happen with Lebron. We can let the games do the talking. And it has been more than 1 game to prove Lebran is better. THis was just the nail in the cuffin. There is absoultely no value to your posts.

King Adam 05-07-2006 08:00 AM

Demon - you still haven't answered my question. Why are you avoiding it?

I want to know why you won't post any stats or numbers to prove your claims. BannerDept has posted stats and numbers to back up what he says. I have posted stats and numbers to back up what I have said .. yet you do nothing but run your mouth. Do you just like blowing air or just like blowing?

King Adam 05-07-2006 08:02 AM

Demon - I also asked about 40 people last night all from Phoenix with no ties to Cleveland about the possibility of Cleveland building a dynsaty with Lebron at the helm and they all said "As long as he stays healthy, its very possible" You are the only fool that thinks otherwise.

King Adam 05-07-2006 08:02 AM

Demon - you got owned last night. I'm still laughing at you.

King Adam 05-07-2006 08:02 AM

Demon - maybe you should stick to things you know about. Then again, that might not be much.

King Adam 05-07-2006 08:13 AM

Demon - come on man ... try to say something intelligent this time and maybe we'll all get lucky and it will be true.

PS - try to post some stats or numbers so that we can understand what you are talking about.

The Demon 05-07-2006 08:34 AM

Holy shit, I've never seen someone embarass themselves on this forum as much as you have.. I got owned? Is that why you feel compelled to post 6-7 consecutive times? Forgot how to use the edit button did you? And I love it how you need reassurance from friends that your opinion may be the correct one. Saying Kobe sucks is as dumb as saying Lebron sucks, so quit embarassing yourself with your biased and illogical arguments.

Btw nobody said it isn't possible, but highly unlikely.. And what stats would you like? Kobe's 50+ point games, his 60+ point games? His 81 point game? Who's more likely to dominate enough to get 50+ points in a game and still win? Oh wait, Kobe... Thank you for your fanboy argument, you'll be crying when Cleveland gets swept by Detroit.

I know how to use an edit button moran. Its just more fun to keep posting.

I didn't ask my friends, I asked strangers at the bar. Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't losing my marbles like you are.

You did say that Cleveland won't have a dynasty and you laughed at the idea

Your boy scored 50 points the other night and lost. But nice attempt at posting stats to prove he's better than Lebron. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

The Demon 05-07-2006 08:44 AM

What's a moran? I'd like to continue this argument so please at least act like you're literate. Kobe isn't my boy, I have hated him until this year, now I respect him because he has NOBODY to pass to on his team, and he can still dominate like MJ. Nobody was arguing that Lebron is more efficient, but Kobe IS the better player.. You can live in denial all you want, or you can take Lebron's word for it, since he said it himself.

Kobe is your boy. You love him. Whether he has support or not, if he is the better player as you said then he should have managed to score a field goal in the 2nd half. And now you are going to compare him to MJ. Smart move :winkwink:

Maybe you should re-think the whole I got respect for him thing. I don't. He is not a team player, he rats out teammates and now you can add he chokes in the playoffs to his credits.

dragon9 05-07-2006 09:21 AM

Lebron is better. Kobe got drafted because of his father. Lebron got drafted
because of pure skill.:pimp

Now he looks better 'cause he has no one to pass to? What about the first 8 years of his career when he had all kinds of players to pass to? The guy's a ball hog and nothing but.

and the only thing Kobe does better is hit free throws...everything else LeBron dominates him.

BannerDept 05-07-2006 09:43 AM

Kobe showed last night what most of us have already known...he is nothing more than a ballhog and out there for himself. He totally gave up in the second half and instead of taking over, like he should have...and has the ability to...he did nothing but give the ball up, so it was easier for his teammates to take the blame for the loss than him.

Exactly, showed he is a quitter. Can you EVER EVER EVER imagine MJ pulling that kind of roll over and die shit in the 2nd half like you saw last night? Now if Mark Jackson and Kenny Smith would stop sucking his selfish quitter dick and stop trying to compare him anywhere to MJ.

:thumbsup :thumbsup

Not too mention, at the end of the game, he just walked off the court. No sportsmanship and no class.

The Demon 05-07-2006 12:10 PM

Nobody said he had sportsmanship to begin with, you sit there and say Lebron is better because of his playoff stats this year, Kobe was the leading scorer in the NBA, does that make him better based on your logic? Oh the MVP voting was 1. Steve Nash 2. Kobe Bryant 3. Dirk 4. Lebron, in case you still think Lebron deserved to be above Kobe or an MVP itself.

Where do you get your info on MVP voting?

I say Lebron is better because he led his team to a better record. I say Lebron because he is just as much of a clutch shooter. I say Lebron because he makes the players on his team better.

You know what .. I'm done with you. You still haven't answered my question about why you won't post numbers and stats to back up your claim.

You are wrong and its pointless to go back and forth with someone that has no clue nor the ability to prove what they say.

The Demon 05-07-2006 01:04 PM

Right, I have no clue. Welcome to the world of Cleveland/Lebron fans.. Lebron is more efficient so in that category yes he makes his team better. Who is the better player of the two? Kobe. Lebron doesn't have the will nor the killer instinct that Kobe or MJ had. But of course with your logic, since his numbers are higher than Jordan's at their respective ages, he's automatically better. So then I can say Wilt is the greatest player ever. Please.. Lebron has the potential to be the next MJ, but so did Grant Hill, Kobe, Anfernee Hardaway, etc.. Instead of verbally fellating him and elevating him to a plateau he hasn't yet deserved, shut up and watch. But of course I know what you'll say when they get swept by Detroit. "Well it took MJ 2-3 years before he was able to muster past them". But when Lebron does something good, he's automatically God.. Let's see if Lebron will win even 1 title, much less 3 that Kobe has, or 6 that MJ has. Do I think he'll get that many? Hell no. But your lack of appreciation for MJ is obvious, after all he beat your team how many years? As long as the Detroit Pistons exist, Lebron will never get past them..

Do you know how many retarded statements you made right there?

Players like Hardaway, Bryant, Hill might have come into the league with lots of hype...but none of them lived up to it. LeBron has lived up to it and more...no one has ever done what he has coming in the league. You think that's just a fuckin' fluke and it's not going to continue? He's the most dominant player in the league hands down. LeBron is better than Kobe, because he can do it all...and doesn't it much more efficiently than Kobe. And if your basketball ignorance is that horrible, that you don't think LeBron will win a title(s) there's something seriously wrong...and Kobe's 3 championships had to do with the team he was on, not him...he lucked into the 3 championships. Put any other player in his position that could consistantly score 15 points a game and they still would have won those titles...idiot.

BannerDept 05-07-2006 01:23 PM

and also, it wouldn't surprise me if you thought Wilt's the greatest of all time...I pretty much expect you to say something stupid like that.

The Demon 05-07-2006 02:48 PM

No moron, I'm using your logic, because youre saying Lebron is better because of his statistics. Don't be mad because you embarassed yourself with your own logic. And Lebron lived up to what hype? That he was going to be good, or that he's the next MJ. If you think he lived up to the latter, then you're a dumber fanboy than I thought. As I post this, the Pistons are annihilating the Cavs by 35, which was expected, now the forum can wait for your excuses. "Oh but Lebron doesn't have anybody, but he wasn't playing to his fullest potential", come on...

Show me where I said it only based on his stats? Again you make shit up.

and LeBron has lived up to the hype IDIOT. No player has ever done at his age what he has. You're an absolute clueless fuck.

And LeBron played well while he was in the game today, did you miss something?

The Demon 05-07-2006 03:05 PM

LOL.. What a stupid human being you are. Lebron has lived up to the "Next Michael Jordan" hype? PLease.. Get your head out of your ass and stop embarassing yourself with your fanboyism. Lebron played well today? LOL...Denial helps right?

BannerDept 05-07-2006 03:08 PM

The Demon (aka Incompetent fuck)...I don't think you've answer one question in this whole thread that you were asked...or backed up anything you've said with actual fact.

If it's not too complicated for you...I'd like you to try answering this question...

You said you don't think LeBron will even win a title...if that's so...

Can you name one player with the talent of LeBron that hasn't won a title? (I'd be interested in your answer...should be good for a laugh).

The Demon 05-07-2006 03:10 PM

At this point of his career he has...IDIOT. He's already done things that took Jordan until he has 26 years old to do. LeBron's young, do you realize how much better he's going to get yet...and he's way beyond where Jordan was, when Jordan came in the league.

Jordan at 22....... 28.2 points a game, 6.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists
James at 21........ 31.4 points a game, 7.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists

The Demon 05-07-2006 03:13 PM

Do you understand the concept of living up to the Michael Jordan hype? You don't do it year by year dumbshit, you do it after 10+ years or possibly at the end of his career. Because his stats are better that means he's lived up to the hype? Larry Birds stats are below James' so that means that James is going to leave a bigger legacy than Bird? Please. You can stop now.
