Anyone have billing issues with Comcast?

So I get a letter in the mail today stating they are going to terminate my account if I don't pay my bill. Odd, I pay it every month. I call them up, during the automated messages, it says my last payment was made on April 7th. I get a hold of a representative and she tells me that my bank rejected the e-check on April 7th stating my bank account was closed. Funny, I don't use echecks, never have with comcast, always use my debit card. So, this "rejection" from the bank (which the bank stated I have had MORE than adequate funds to pay), there was no history of any issues regarding transfers.

Now Comcast wants me to fax them all bank transactions for the month of April so they can "review it" to see what happened.

Anyone else run into this?

never, but I always pay by a physical check, I pay all bills with a physical check though, just to avoid shit like that

yeah, it just makes no sense. Automated message tells me last successful payment was made April 7th, then the rep tells me that on April 7th my "echeck" was rejected. Which one really happened? Especially since the lady says, "It looks like you've only payed with a debit card" -- yeah, thanks for noticing!

That sucks. I had a miserable experince with them in a billing mess. I took them through arbitration, they eneded up settling for giving me six months free and crediting my acct. I did the six months and left.

Get a new ISP. Seriously.

YES!!! I know this COMCAST behavior very well... The second account that only they could create for me, again the same broadband internet service, they shut it down through the modem, shortly after a rep called me just to say I could not have it running at my old address... and I was caught by surprise, as a on-time paying customer. I informed that rep that I was a paying customer - she didn't care, I asked (implored) her to keep it running anyway or someway to make it possible, again she didn't care... I tell you all, be aware of this company, no matter where their offices might be located, it seems a general rule to be outrageously unprofessional.
Now I looked up the bills... and guess the mess I found with wrongfull or on purpose calculations, I reviewed all the bills over and again, and couldn't believe...numbers seem to be manipulated as they please like in a very real conspiracy. Btw, where can I find the real % number they use for sales taxes??? Every gave me something like 0.21%, and it seems they include past balances also to sales tax (again) - Does that make sense???
As I "several times" went back and forth with 'em over the phone and in person at their local office, I had the same cynical, pathetic excuse, they don't know what I am talking about... Yeah, can you guys understand my English here? So, COMCAST cannot or they don't want it.
From that I already have a picture in front of me, I will not argue with a bunch of macaques and waste my valuable time, I will hire a legal authorithy to handle it, even though, it's only about $123 bucks, though I really want warn folks about this, be aware with this company, once you're in, you will be screwed at some point or just have luck to get a location where their staff might work better to hide their scam on you... BTW, my mother live in a remote country and we use the video chat to communicate w my family, she recently is recovering of a stroke, and once we are a very close family, that COMCAST rep in despite of being informed about all the facts, and with obvious access to my account, in despite of all of this, that rep didn't only shut my modem, that rep broke my heart... Folks I am on a very short budget, and now stuck w my lit cash on this fckin company, I could need this money to get another provider, but well... I am sitting here in a public internet caffee of a friend of mine... thanks COMCAST... I hope your area monopoly no longer will last...
