I'm confused :) |

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh It sounds like you learned it the hard way, by being on the receiving end I said before that if you tried real hard, someday you might learn what it is like to be civilized, and to be a man. I was wrong, you will never know these things. Keep up the good work dipshit, I'm sure you've won yourself a ton of supporters in this thread :thumbsup |

I am against illegal immigration, but I understand why it is happening and that nothing can stop it as long as such wide economic disparity exists between two neighboring countries. I support laws making it easier for guest workers to enter the U.S.A. legally and amnesty for those already here. |

Ok I haven't said a word about this so hear it goes......my great grand parents came over here on the boat to Ellis Island. They came from Italy and didn't speak English but they sure as hell learned and made this country better. He ran the town store and was the the mayor of a small town called Roseto PA. If it wasn't for him most of the people would have starved during the depression. They also became LEAGAL immigrants.

How do you feel about allowing others the opportunity that was granted your great-grandparents? |

The wall may be an efficient action, but it sounds really funny to me.
Imagin if America would deside to build a wall with Canada. Hehehe |

I cant support amnesty or a guest worker program, but I am all for improving the speed at which people can emigrate and become full American citizens. That way we can all share in the burden as taxpayers, all have the right to vote, and all gain the benefits of being a full citizen.

The same problem is in Europe.
So America is not alone in the difficulties connected with changes needed. |

I feel if someone comes here legally and learns English, pays taxes and doesn't ask the government for help is more than welcome here. :) |

Once they realized they were in trouble, the Wessagusset men joined with the Plymouth settlers for some foraging and trading expeditions, and they did bring home some food. But by late winter, they ran out again. They then turned to the Indians and here again, they failed in their dealings. They traded for corn, giving up clothes and blankets or performing services for them like cutting wood. This did not gain them respect, and when some of them began to steal corn from the Indians, things got worse. |
"I believe this Government was made on the white basis. I believe it was made by white men for the benefit of white men and their posterity for ever, and I am in favor of confining citizenship to white men, men of European birth and descent, instead of conferring it upon negroes, Indians, and other inferior races."

dunno man, it doesn't really matter now. everyone involved in the transactions is long since dead, some people seem to like to blame anyone living now with a white face for what happened to other people that have been dead for many centuries... it doesn't seem to accomplish very much for them though. |
