Web Air - because Mike might be one of the best owners around.
National Net - a little pricy but worth the extra lute
Phat Servers - the BEST service I've had in a long time.

Does this top 3 have to allow adult hosting?

I got two separate lists...

And no, I'm not here to spam although I do run a hosting service. (oops, did I say that out loud?)

Half of the hosts listed here focus on low prices and not quality so if that what you want then I guess that's the best.

But as far as who offers the best possible service that is http://www.dwhs.com just like houses there is cheap versions and better versions. It just depends on how you want to live.

Better hardware, better network, better free tools, better performance, period.

I'm only gonna give 2

1) quik-host.net cause oscer has been around longer than most of these people and understands the business, he also started his own carrier here in Baltimore so with nobody here can touch his services.

2) Techiemedia jim knows his shit and they have excellent support

other than those 2 guys I wouldn't deal with anyone else

quik-host is owned by the guy who use to run stynk.com you know it's kinda funny all the freehost guys moved onto paid hosting guess it had to happen sometime, if anyone here wants to check them out just tell oscer that waste sent you over he'll hook you up.

isprime - hands down. they're not big on the whole message board stuff - too busy writing custom scripts and doing things to ensure everyone is operating and running smooth 24/7. they'll hit you up before there is a problem, or when there is a problem, rather than wait until you discover it. thats if an issues even exists.

they host the bangbros, in addition to many other big programs and sites. if that doesn't reak of quality, i don't know what does.

I think LikeWhoa and FoundryNap are even running specials... fly their banner in your signature and get free hosting! LOL LOL

DWHS, just an observation but you are the only hosting company that has been listed on this page that has a $99/month dedicated server. And for the record, more than half of the companies listed here so far are excellent providers. It's a good list to work off if someone is shopping for a new host!

Cheers,

Brad

Top 3? I've only used about 4. The other 3 were popular names but didn't live up to my standards so I found refuge at Webair.

Now if you want me to list my bottom 3 I have those names ready for you now! LOL

I have used reliablehosting.com for years and love them
24/hr 7 day a week support. No down time since I have been with them!

I started out with natnet but found them overpriced and over rated.

just my 2 cents

If i were shopping for hosting, i would only consider

nat-net
isprime
mojohost

I tried working with swiftwill before and they are difficult to contact, and don't let you have root on your own machine. Being that i'm a sysadmin, that's unacceptable. I've heard great things about their dependability, but my personal experience with their support/sales was enough to send me looking elsewhere.

Here's my experience
I'm am or was looking for hosting for my paysite.

I tested these hosts support #'s on a sunday night around 3-4 am and their sales during biz hours. This is just my experience, not my opinion.

National Net - answered in 1 ring, Got a quote from them within 1 hour of contacting Bill.
Phatservers - first time I called got a fax machine, second time forwarded to VM. Contacted Mike for a quote on a colo, handled within minutes
ISPRIME - after getting through the menu 3 rings. Contacted Denis for a quote got it within an hour.
OC3networks - didnt call support but their sales suck ass. Emailed for prices never got a response, called and left a message no response. Going on a week.
Jupiter - Called sales, left a message with receptionists, Never got a call back. Searched GFY for a contact, contacted Poppy but couldnt get a quote because they are restructuring pricing.
Swiftco.net - Contact Henry for anything you want or need. Excellent host
Webair - never tried
Mojohost - never tried

So far National Net is superior in every way. Ofcourse they cost a little more.

from all the hosting companies that we have worked with or considered working with, OC3 Networks has stood out time and time again.

Service: They are very knowledgeable and support all of our needs in a very timely manner. Friendly support all the time.

Pricing: Other hosting companies have not been able to give us pricing like OC3 does. I was pitched a price from OC3 and didnt even flinch or negotiate. I call around for other pricing and IF another company does meet the price after hours of being on the phone, they make it fuckin seem like they are pulling all the strings in the world, and doing us the biggest favor that they dont do for everybody.

Bottom line is, OC3 fuckin rocks.

All of our sales emails are being monitored and you will get an AUTO response with a sales ticket, if you didn't get one could be that it's was directed to our spam folder... as for phone we don't have a voice mail on this one as it always go to a person even after hours it will be directed to the NOC and there is always someone there.

please hit me up as I would like to hear this story personaly and work with you.

thank you

Have used quik-host for several years for our AVS. A shakey start at times, but have to say it has been well over a year (maybe 2) since SexPicturesPass has been down.
