i would also take my children to a nude beach any day and i would consider taking them to burning man as well. the only reason i would think about *not* taking my kids to burning man is if they were brand new babies, because it is certainly easier to take care of a newborn with all of the comforts of home - burning man is an experiment in community in the desert. it's tough. it can make you cry. and then you can be enlightened. wait, i forgot who i was talking to here for a second.

Stuart, My niece went when she was 6 months, 1.5 years and 2.5 years. It does take extra prep and some awareness, but it can be a magical place for children. They even have "kid friendly" vilages where tons of families camp (usually with RVs).

I'm sure Aeon will rent you an RV, since its a pretty harsh environment (windstorms/dust/heaty) to expose a kid and he seems pretty good about protecting children....even if he's quick to execute adult humans.

I dont understand the attacks on Hal , also you have worked in porn waaaaay to long if you think a naked body immediately means a sex thing. Your logic is giving me a headache, because it is emotional and not logical at all. Why are you so angry? I can't help but have the feeling this is misdirected anger. You can't crucify all people who attend BM for the actions of a few any more then the gov't can say we are all CP peddlers because a few whackjobs do it. I have a lot more swirling around in my head, but I really think that it will be a waste of my energy to type it all out. You seem to be one of those types that only sees his or her own perspective, and never believes they are wrong or made a mistake, no matter how much evidence of that is presented. All I want to suggest to you is this... Once they believed the world was flat. It made perfect sense to them. They were as adament about that as you are being now. But, guess what? They were wrong. As I hesitate to say I am right, because I am certainly not immune to the mistake bug, you must admit the possibility that you are wrong, too. Or you just look like a nutjob zealot and no one will listen to your message. If your message is important to you, you owe it to yourself to listen and entertain other perceptions, opinions, and ideas, and broaden your mind.
