In the days before the US came in, Saddam would have beheaded the kids as well after torturing them in front of their parents.

Its still a mess no doubt, but it was total fear and hell on earth before under Saddam's regime for these people.

And if you deny that then you need to read what life was like under Saddam.

The post does implies that a lot of spin is going on ... two stories in that story, along with the fact that this US administration has been, since day one, saying how great it was going, then progress was being done, then the Iraqi police forces are strong, and so on...

It is NOT TRUE:

The place is the shit and if you would conduct a fair referendum asking the people :

What is better?

- The way it is now ( under US occupation )
- The way it was then ( under Saddam)

I have a good idea of the answer ....

On the other hand, nothing prevents you to post positive ( please real shit ) stories .... it's a free world, well I think it still is...
